Tonight, Raw is live from the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA and we have the fallout from the first ever Battleground PPV. Last night, we thought Vacant's reign over the WWE title would come to an end, but it was not to be. The McMahons and Brad Maddox thought they had the screws in for Daniel Bryan with the Big Show and Scott Armstrong in their back pockets, but the former's frustrations finally boiled over and it resulted with both challengers knocked out at the massive hands of the angry giant. How will WWE management revolve the dispute over the WWE title involving Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, and what consequences will come the Big Show's way?
In addition, CM Punk got one over on his former manager and friend Paul Heyman with a dirty victory over Ryback, and ain't that kick in the groin? With the way things went down last night, it doesn't seem like this is going to be the end of the road between Punk, Heyman, and Ryback. What will be next for these three men as we head towards Hell in a Cell?
The Rhodes Family earned their jobs back last night with a very hard earned win over the Shield last night. Now that Cody and Goldust are back on the active roster, what could be next for these two competitors. Perhaps a shot at the tag team champions they just defeated?
With Vacant still asserting dominance over the WWE title, the highest ranking champion in the WWE right now is Alberto Del Rio, and he showed his aggression last night by tapping out Rob Van Dam in Hardcore rules. What is the next stop on the World Heavyweight Champion's wheel of aggression? Damien Sandow still looms with his swank briefcase, and so could the man that bested Sandow in the pre-show last night in Dolph Ziggler.
Filling out the rest of the card was AJ Lee retaining the Diva's title against Brie Bella thanks to Tamina Snuka, Bray Wyatt defeating Kofi Kingston, Curtis Axel beating random Hell in a Cell poster boy R-Truth, and the Real Americans swung for the fences against Santino and Great Khali. All of this, and Zeb Colter testing the no politics rule by ranting on the government shutdown, tonight on Raw at 8PM ET!
