I don't know about on other boards, but on THESE boards, it's definitely ADR. If Sheamus was still around, it'd probably be him. For me personally, it's Rey. It's ALWAYS Rey. And apparently, that makes me a Rey-cist.

Judging from what I've seen in most threads on the WWE section, it has to be ADR.

1.) I'm from California and also Mexican, they're not two exclusive things. 2.) That's because Hunico doesn't get a push and if he started winning matches he'd get hate too. It's kinda hard to hate on someone if you don't remember they're even on the roster. 1.) Very well. I'm just saying California isn't exactly south of the border. It's close, but geographically...not. 2.) If Hunico ever got a push, I'm guessing people might be in such a state of shock they wouldn't be able to hate on it.

I can't imagine we'll ever see this question again. Someone needs to bookmark this thread for posterity.

John Cena.
Some people hate the guy on a personal level for playing a character on a television show. It's disturbing. They bitch about his booking, but Hogan and Austin were booked exactly the same. They think the Make-A Wish Stuff is all a ploy to get people to like Cena, they think the WWE is STILL trying to get the naysayers to cheer him after selling "Anti-Cena" t-shirts! Some people still outright refuse to say that Cena is a great wrestler, even after he's had countless good matches.
Sure, some people don't like Del Rio. But just like Cena, it's not his fault. His character and booking is ridiculous. He's a talented wrestler and is much better as a cocky aristocrat than a "serious wrestler."

I'm beginning to notice an odd trend on this board. Rey Mysterio was absolutely loathed here, Alberto Del Rio is almost universally hated now, and Sin Cara is always being ragged on hard. What do these guys have in common? Oh that's right they're all Mexican superstars and hugely over with more Mexican crowds. A lot of people on this board have a weird extreme dislike for talent that comes from south of the border. Eddie was pretty universally liked. I will also add Del Rio wasn't hated at the beginning, it's his shitty booking and constant over-push that started to rub fans the wrong way.

I freaking love Hunico and Rey Rey.Don't freaking dare to use race as an excuse I'm a freaking BRAZILIAN,there is aussies, american, europeans in this forum. All over the world. And mexicans. And you wanna play "WELP" they don't like because they are mexican. To be fair Sin Cara reason is because he is mexican. He can't speaked english and is used to lucha style,so he can't properly work the WWE style.(i loved Rey and Sin tag team, because Sin Cara could actually work). Hell if i remember correctly.LAX had a big fanbase on the IWC,it is TNA but it still applies.

People's feelings will totally get hurt at the mere suggestion and that's terrible.

I've always liked Del Rio (well, at least since he's been in WWE). Of course, now with him being universally hated, I'm a bit self-conscious about it.

Mysterio was loved massively during his early run, the hate came when he was held together by duct tape and people didn't like his finisher set up. 2. Sin Cara was known for botching a lot. 3. Eddie 4. Chavo 5. Super Crazy 6. Every major luchador from the WCW era 7. Ricardo Rodriguez is massively loved. Del Rio is just... Del Rio.

People, there is only real answer to this question: Bo Dallas. I think the OP was referring to the guys on the active WWE roster but yeah he's creating a turn around that's for sure

I'd say the Kliq in general, with Triple H being the main recipient of it these days. The amount of vitriol that people still seem capable of launching at the lot of them is staggering, and as the one still prominently featured, Hunter gets the majority of it (though Nash would probably be despised even more if he was still around; I mean, on top of everything else, he's large, has big muscles, and has the f***ing gall to outright say that he wrestles to make money when all of us intelligent, discerning wrestling fans know that REAL, respect-worthy pro wrestlers are delusional marks who want to "win" fake matches and fake championships until they end up as crippled drug addicts). I mean, for f***'s sake, I've seen more people on here declare that they can NEVER respect or even not-despise Shawn Michaels ever because he was a dick to dudes backstage in the '90s than lob similar declarations at, oh, that vanilla midget from Canada who murdered his family. I know we need scapegoats for why our favorite talentless garbage wrestlers from ECDub failed at making careers for themselves in the big leagues, but c'mon. I don't know, all of them seem to fit into patterns of the kinds of guys who folks on the internet like to despise. Rey Mysterio hate stems from his unforgivable sin of being popular with children, and therefore getting to win lots of matches. And since he's a secondary main event face, the heels he gets to repeatedly beat tend to be the upper-midcard smark workrate darling types, which makes him even more hated (Sheamus suffers the same affliction). Alberto del Rio is consistently pushed and wins a lot, and it's probably no coincidence that the backlash against him really kicked off after he won the title from Punk (and again when he took what people convinced themselves was Daniel Bryan's rightful spot in the WHC feud against Sheamus). And Curtis Axel and Bray Wyatt are getting the same treatment on here right now that Sin Cara does. Hyped-up debut, protected more than most midcarders, leading to lots of schadenfreude hopes that they'll fail and get torn down.

Most people liked what Del Rio was doing when he turned face, I've hated the guy for years now and I was OK with what he was doing, I didn't enjoy it but my hatred was quelled. Then he turned heel again and become his dull, boring, wheel of aggression self of the past who never evolves and does the same old shit week to week. With Rey I think it's just a vocal group, I don't think Rey is as hated as you make out, though the only time I saw genuine hate for the guy was when he was handing Punk his ass. Sin Cara....... is inexcusable.

They just make fun of him for botching.

The worst part about Rey's booking is the whole "He's short, so let's act like he actually _is_ a child" thing that Vince McMahon loves to do so much.
Even beyond the crappy finisher setup and that his knees are the consistency of crushed cheerios now.

That's like saying the hatred towards Orton, Cena, and Triple H means everyone hates white people. Rey Mysterio gets hated for the exact same reason Cena does (Superman booking). People were pumped by all the Sin Cara hype, but he flopped. And a crap load of people jumped the Del Rio bandwagon when he first arrived on the scene, but then he showed himself to be a one-trick-pony. Of course, you also conviently leave out that Eddie, Chavo, Ricardo, and even pre-Superman pushed Rey Rey were also beloved by the IWC. But that conflicts with your race card.

Rey only started to get hated during his championship run when they kept booking him to lose, and even more so when Punk and the SES were jobbing to him. Also the prolonged push despite injuries. People loved Rey for a long time but I think, like Big Show, they just started getting sick of him. People were very excited about Mystico joining but were let down with all the botches. Besides it doesn't seem to me like he's got hate so much as people like to make fun of him. IWC loved Del Rio at first but he's also already stale. His character is boring (all he did was talk about destiny for ages and now he doesn't even have Ricardo) and has been pushed to the moon. Didn't he headline 5 ppvs in row in a boring feud with Sheamus? And he's been champ again for too long in more boring feuds.
