One of the classic scenes in wrestling involves a heel(s) getting ready to do something dastardly as the crowd looks on in horror. Just when they are about to do the evil deed, however...BOOM! The theme music of a babyface hits as he rushes down to the ring to make the save! Few things are more satisfying than watching the good guy clean house as the crowd goes nuts. There's tons of examples of this wrestling mainstay. What's your favorite one? For my money, it has to be when Kane stopped the Un-Americans from burning the American flag. So simple yet it gives me goosebumps every time. That Kane-a-roonie... Anyway, one of my favorite "hero saves the day" moments happened when the Undertaker enetered at number 30 in the 2007 Royal Rumble and eliminated the Great Khali.

Speaking of saving Eugene...
The Rock coming right the f*** out of nowhere to help Eugene as he was leaving the arena all depressed thanks to Coach is underrated, IMO. I legit felt so bad for Eugene and popped SO hard when Rocky came out to be on his side.

Guilty pleasure: HBK returns, beats up the Spirit Squad, rescues HHH, and reunites DX.

Austin at backlash 2000 for me. So telegraphed from the onset but such an outstanding moment. Still baffles me why they didnt do exactly the same main event a month earlier at Wrestlemania. It is a match that often gets overlooked because it never happened on the grandest stage.
Look at the recent wwe.com list on top all time wwe tiitle matches and this wasn't on it, when it clearly should have been in my view.

For someone who wasn't a traditional babyface Austin was the absolute master of this. The glass smashing adds so much to it.
I voted for Rock in the Austin vs Rock thread, but man Austin was so great.

Austin at Backlash 2000, actually my favorite moment ever. Austin during the Ministry/Stephanie segment. Austin during the Rock/Mankind title match on Raw. Undertaker at Judgment Day 2000, even though he ended up costing The Rock the match. and I'll also admit to marking when Ryback would come out to save the faces from The Shield.
This is a staple of wrestling that never gets old.

1) Austin coming to Mankind's aid the night he beat the Rock. That Worcester crowd blew up like nothing I'd ever seen before.
A close 2) Slaughter turning face in late '91 to help Duggan against the Nasty Boys, capping it with press slamming Jimmy Hart onto them outside the ring.

My only guess is because Austin wasn't ready for even a small skit like that thanks to his neck. Hell it was clear at Backlash how out of shape Austin was. But I agree with the sentiments and as a Rock fan growing up, I hated the fact he never got his Wrestlemania title win. Actually thinking about it, he still hasn't had that to date.

How about a classic one?
-Elizabeth getting Hogan to save Savage from Honky Tonk Man and The Hart Foundation, thus forming the Mega Powers.

Not WWE, but when Jerry Lawler, RVD and Sabu took out the entire ECW locker room- then Taz walks out and they bail at the sight of him.

WWE actually did something similar recently late last year/early this year. Seth Rollins, then NXT champion, made his first appearence in Shield gear on the show...had a match against Corey Graves, DQ ending. NXT locker room tries to stop them, Shield holds them off... Then Big E. Langston comes out to play the role of Taz.
