Triple H's entrance them has always sounded like a "real" song I've heard before and finally figured out which one, well actually a couple. Fistful of Steel by Rage Against the Machine And Moon Baby by Godsmack Both songs were released before Triple H started using "Higher Brain Pattern" which was covered by Motorhead and became his long running theme. I think Triple H may have suggested he wanted something that sounded like RATM as Steve Austin apparently did and that's where the theme came from. (I doubt Trips listened to Godsmack lol) Now, so this isn't just a totally pointless thread, list some other entrance themes that sound like "real" songs.

That's okay man. Just go to the icon that looks like a director's cutting board, it will say "Insert Video" when highlighted. Click and copy the link inside the bar and it should work. Hope that helps.

That was intentional due to the latter being used to advertise some European brand alcohol in the US on adverts. "Hey, that song is used to advertise some possibly-non-European-but-sold-as-alcohol...that guy is Very European! Do it now!" Ah, crazy wrestling world...

Evidently "CCCRRRRRRAAAAAPPPPPAAAAADOOOOOO" isn't exclusive to John Cena's theme. Not really what the OP was talking about, this just caught me off guard when I heard it in a movie.

Tommy Dreamer has that JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESUS CHRIST song by Alice In Chains or something like it Yeah, it was his theme in ECW, so they just gave him a rip-off. Another obvious WCW one, Jericho's One Crazed Anarchist theme and Even Flow by Pearl Jam.

Which I find stupid, because not only is the song called ENGLAND, instead of say, switzerland, the use of Chelsea Dagger in England is pretty much limited to our national football team (as in, the football that doesn't resemble rugby)

This is odd, but to me, the Wyatt Family's current theme sounds a bit like this - youtu.be/ZCSzxkbMri8

First he's from Switzerland, then he's Italian (both his independent & WWE name), then English (music), then German (tron colours), now he's a member of the US (We the People). Next...Parts Unknown. His rugby tape can be replaced by colourful Warrior tassels.

To my non-discerning young ears, DDP DID come out to Smells like Teen Spirit. It was a big reason why I liked him, and a big reason why I actually did get really into Nirvana a couple of years later. So in a way, it was damn good advertising for them! WCW had a lot of those rip-off themes, but they were less blatant. Jericho came out to rip-off of Evenflow by Pearl Jam, but I never thought Jericho was coming out to Pearl Jam every week.
