Heres how I think they're doing it, Vince is letting Big Show do this and Triple H and Stephanie know nothing about it and on one raw when they bring out the cops to arrest Big Show, Vince comes out and tells the cops to leave the ring, then tells Triple H and Stephanie that Big Show has an Iron Clad contract which means his firing is null and void causing Triple H and Stephanie to have a fit from there after a few months we have at Wrestlemania John Cena vs Daniel Bryan with the company on the line with Triple H in Cena's corner and Vince in Bryan's corner and even better for Title unification Was good until the random Cena turn.

Cena would do it reluctantly like he did with the Nexus

He can't afford to pay his mortgage, but he can afford to... - Fly out of pocket to wherever they were this week. - Rent a car to drive to arena. - Buy a ticket to get inside the arena. - Leave the arena and stay at a three-and-a-half star hotel with a smug sense of satisfaction. He doesn't fly. He follows them in his car.

I genuinely think this makes no sense with the angle so far, but it's very, very funny and therefore makes the angle better. I love the mental image of Solid Show sneaking around the arena, the security somehow certain that this giant must have no relation to the giant that was fired the week before, flying from arena to arena with methods not quite explained at the cost of whatever little money he has left.

First Cena was fired, yet never actually left, involving himself in matches and causing trouble, and now the Big Show does as well. Larry David quit SNL, then realized it would cost him a year's pay, so he just went back in and acted like he didn't quit. It was later a Seinfeld episode where George did the same.

Big Show managed to pass himself off as his Mexican cousin, El Show Grande.

Would it really hurt them to at least keep Big Show off screen for a month or two? then when he does show up uninvited and gets involved it has more impact
It's not as if keeping the bloody Big Show off screen and house shows for a few weeks is going to cost them any money.

Stephanie orders the ringside security to her office next week: "Big Show, knock them out! ...oh, right"

WWE allows free admission to military personnel.
Big Show has been very popular at the Tribute to the Troops shows. He's made a few friends in uniform.
So he obviously borrowed a military ID from some 7-foot submarine operator, wore some dark glasses so as not to be recognized, hit behind a big "Triple H is Best for Business" poster until the right moment and, well, you know the rest.

The idea of WWE security being so inept that they can't spot and prevent a 500lb giant and a man with his face painted entirely in gold from entering the arena amuses me greatly.

Pretty sure Big Show jumped the rail, dude. They aren't stupid, he came in as an impostor and left as soon as the damage was done. Security followed him as well. LMAO, he's freaking 7-feet tall. I didn't watch the show but how do you not recognize a guy that big?

It's like that time the "board" deemed McMahon unfit to run the company. Then the next time we see him he's running the company.
WWE has a very um... retarded business model.

Considering Jimmy Wang Yang got rehired by showing up backstage a year after getting released and Vince seeing him and thinking he was still on the roster all this time, I think WWE's unique view on employment isn't entirely kayfabed.

I'm just glad somebody on commentary was actually pointing out the fact that Big Show shouldn't have been able to do that instead of like the last time this happened when they were all going on about how great it is that the hero of the WWE Universe, John Cena is illegally entering the arena and interfering in matches/attacking WWE superstars.
Great lesson, WWE: teach the children that when the world isn't fair, just break the law until the other guy caves, and there will be no consequences!

Looking at Goldust's employment record, I'm going to guess "no".

Only HHH is actually a full time employee, the rest are independent contractors in a way that only exists in pro wrestling so they can't be fired in a traditional way.

I think being fired means you're technically still under contract for 90 days. So maybe that?
