Yeah, Jericho jacked the codebreaker from Marifuji. I like Storm's version way better though that probably has a lot to do with the guys who are bumping off it. Jericho's has more snap to it, but Storm usually gives it to people who bump harder. And KENTA's probably the answer. When he first debuted, Punk's signature moves were taken from him, even copying his strike combo. But apparently KENTA's been using the Yes Lock, so it works both ways. From what I remember, KENTA and DB are friends dating back to the tours DB did with NOAH.

Only two guys use kenta's moves Where as everybody uses a ddt, flying forearm, swinging neck breaker etc Hell ziggler uses the x-factor, fameasser, rude awakening, and superkick. He is a pumphandle slam and pedigree away from taking all of dx's finishers. In a shoot interview from a few years ago, the New Age Outlaws kept jokingly calling Ziggler Billy Gun as he uses a lot of Billy's moves. And yeah Jericho was joking about the coebreaker as he states in his 2nd book he saw a Japanese wrestler do it and wanted it to be his new finisher (after he almost had a heart attack after thinking of a move and seeing Candice Michelle do the move calling it the Candy Wrapper) Wasn't Candice just doing Christian's Unprettier/Killswitch?

Killswitch into a bulldog. It was stupid.

Sometimes jericho hits it great, other times it is to the side and weird
I find it funny that the flashback and breakdown were almost his finishers

The problem is he'd oversell his own offense, and be out cold for 30 minutes.

The Miz. Brian Christopher's full-nelson facebuster (which Chris Jericho swiped in 2001), Evan Bourne's corner clothesline (Miz stole it and used it before Bourne was signed), Christian's inverted DDT to the knee, Matt Hardy's Side Effect. I won't list things like the figure four because everyone does that. But, those other four moves of his are very distinct. The guy doesn't have one move where you think "Wow, that's creative".

I once saw a match in Japan where all they did was use stolen moves. First, I saw someone do a headlock. Then I saw a clothesline, a suplex, a moonsault, and most grievous of all...a PUNCH.
I turned it off and swore of Puro for life. I won't watch that unoriginal wrestling ever again. I want to watch people do moves I've never seen before in my life every second of every match. With no duplication even by the same person.
A signature move?
BAH!
I call that a lazy crutch.

Wasn'r Jarrett using the full-nelson face buster during one of his WWF runs?

Konnan taught bret the sharpshooter Arriba la raza Seems off that Bret makes different claims as to who taught him the Sharpshooter when Terry Taylor used the move in the WWF in 1988. I suspect Bret doesn't want to admit he started using the finisher of a guy that was reduced to a joke during his time in WWF.

You would lol if he did all the rude awakening, super x-factor, the fameasser, superkick, pumphandle all in succession before doing a crotch chop and pedigreeing the guy in the ring then the guy kicks out at one. Then hhh comes out and pedigrees ziggler, his opponent, ref, michael cole, king, the ref, jbl, and finally lillian garcia

An argument could be made for Jake Roberts, even though the DDT isn't quite as overused as it used to be.

One could argue Macho Man and Steamboat invented the modern WWE style match. That's a good point.
