I did enjoy Tom Phillips saying before the main event began. "Finally Adrian Neville Gets his hands on Corey Graves". What? It's been less than 1 full episode since he Graves turned on him.
I dread to think of the hyperbole he'd use to describe Punk getting to Heyman at HITC!

There's something just not right about Paige wearing pink Even worse the anti-diva was wearing a diva shirt! I know it's part of the whole cancer month thing but it was still wrong.

As I said before, since this was my second time watching an NXT show, I decided to write down my thoughts as I watched the show. Sorry if they come off as a little disjointed.
- Oooh, the usual “Why wrestler X, why?!” speech that every freshly turned heel gives turns into a brawl. That I really like.
- Kinda unrelated but NXT’s theme song kicks ass.
- There’s something really funny about Tensai in a suit.
- Show kicks off with a Divas’ match between Emma and Sasha Banks. I’m aware of who Emma is but I’ve never seen Sasha in action.
- From what I’m seeing, I’m guessing that Sasha and Summer are the bitchy heels of NXT?
- Tensai is actually pretty solid on commentary. He’s had some funny lines so far.
- LMAO, they even do the “(Insert show here) rolls on” here!
- Oh, excuse me, apparently Sasha is a boss ass bitch. My mistake.
- Damn, Emma busted out the Tarantula! I heart this woman.
- Sasha wins a solid match. I don’t mean solid by “WWE Diva” standards either, I mean actually solid.
- Oh, tension is building between Paige and Emma.
-LOL, Bo Dallas is giving an interview. Oh wow, hahaha. This is the goofiest son of a bitch I’ve ever seen. Move over, Ryback.
- Apparently, Bo is taking a break. Alrighty then.
- Hey, NXT has a black ref. Coolio. Also, some jobbers are out.
- Out next are the NXT Tag Champions, the Ascension. I’m gonna guess they are supposed to be the dark mysterious act in NXT.
- Damn, The Ascension are pretty big dudes.
- The Ascension win with the High-Low. Love that move. Match itself was whatever, a decent showcase for the champs, I guess. They had some cool looking power moves.
-Sami Zayn promo now. He basically says that JBL screwed him out of the title and that he gets the feeling that he’s not the chosen one in the same vein as Daniel Bryan. Perfectly acceptable promo. - JBL promo conducted by Renee Young. Basically said that his decision to restart the match last week was best for business. So, I guess his gimmick of “Authority dick-rider” carries over to NXT. Oh, and Zayn is suspended, I guess.
- No joke on nothing, I’ve seen this CJ Parker dude twice and I think he sucks ass. Everything about him screams “corny bullshit” and not in the fun way either.
- Parker is facing Alexander Rusev and holy crap, this guy looks awesome.
- The crowd is chanting for Tyler Breeze. Wait, is Parker supposed to be a heel? I’m confused.
- Thank god, Rusev squashes Parker in like two minutes.
- OK, I know some people love the NXT crowd but they’re starting to annoy me. Some dude compared them to the Impact Zone crowd and I kind of agree.
- On a unrelated note, I want to get that Goldberg DVD.
- LMAO, the crowd loves Breeze who jumped Parker during the break. Seriously, am I missing something? Is Breeze supposed to be a face?
- Main event time. Graves looks like he just came of a week long coke binge.
- Another commercial break?! Come on now!
- I love how all of these HIAC hype promos are making it seem like the deadliest match on earth. Yeah right, the cell will barely be used. You can’t fool me.
- Parker/Breeze next week. Umm...yeah? Also, Paige/Rae is next week which should be good.
- “Everybody wants to be NXT Champion but he (Neville) is already half-way there.” Whoever made that call (I think it was Riley), you suck. What a dumb call.
- Yeah, f*** this crowd, hahaha. Way too many turds are in here.
- The story of this match was that Graves worked over Neville’s knee the entire match with Neville only being able to get in the occasional rollup as his offense. It was very well done.
- Graves wins with a neat looking submission. Solid match.
-In true heel fashion, Graves jumps Neville after the match and locks his submission in again. So, I guess we get a rematch later on down the line.
So...that was NXT. Not bad. I wasn’t in love with it but there wasn’t anything I hated. This show was very easy to get through, I’ll give it that much.

- There’s something really funny about Tensai in a suit. I swear it's because he looks like the head football coach during the team banquet.

Cold open with Corey Graves coming out in a suit. Somewhere, someone's childhood is ruined. I'd have to say he looks hotter covered up than he does without a shirt. Loved how Neville just ran. I've already expressed my disdain multiple times about Alex Riley on commentary. I love A-Ry as a wrestler, but as a commentator, he has to be the shittiest I've ever heard. I'd prefer Tensai to take his spot on the commentary team and for Riley to focus on wrestling, something he's at least decent at. Tensai is up there and years of wrestling the stiff puro style has taken it's toll on him, while Riley is still young and has room to improve as an in-ring performer. Tensai carries himself well on commentary while Riley just f***s up too many times for my liking. I do have to admit that the "research" line wasn't as bad as I thought it was though. I got the impression that he went on an angry rant and blew up at Tensai, but it sounded like he was giving Tensai a compliment. But that's the only excuse I'll give him. Listening to him cream his pants over Emma made me ashamed of myself for liking him. Imo there's just no upside to Riley as a commentator unless he and Miz do announce duties as a duo at some point or it segues into an in-ring program. For Tensai this gig feels like a reward for performing so well on the Battleground panel, but for Riley it comes off as a purgatory of sorts. I think I love Sasha Banks even more. That entrance jacket. SEXY!!! Sasha and Emma put on a hell of a Divas match. Why can't the main roster Divas do this? Mojo Rawley has his own Breast Cancer ad. Hopefully this is an indicator of WWE being high on him. The Ascension vs. jobbers was good for what it was. The one in the blue trunks looked like a "normal sized Ryback". I think Conor O'Brian owns the gimmick, but Rick Victor kind of looks out of place. Victor doesn't look like an "dark and evil something something" the same way that Conor does. He looks like a regular wrestler who just happens to follow Conor around and come out with him to the ring. JBL: "NXT issued a tanktop?" Try as I might, I don't like CJ Parker very much. I don't like his hippie gimmick, and I think his hair ruins what's an otherwise good look (I think he'd actually be kind of cute if he chopped those dreads down to a nice buzzcut). I do have to admit that he makes a good jobber. He shouldn't be feuding with anyone or having storylines though. At least Breeze finally got over in a segment, I find that this Parker/Tyler Breeze angle is a bit one-sided on both ends. Breeze won all the matches, while up until this weeks episode, Parker was getting over on all the non-wrestling segments. So glad that Graves is a heel again, it suits him. I do agree that Corey's NEWFOUND AGGRESSION!?!?!?! tends to slow matches down, but I don't necessarily see it as this unholy slight against all that is sacred.
