Magnus is definitely winning to be Dixie's chosen champ

Magnus is the odd man out in that tournament so that means he is the favorite to win.

I find it funny how Manik's the only one of the guys from the Ultimate X match left out of the tournament, yet Storm gets in despite losing twice in a row to a pair of basically comedy heels. Though that line-up screams, "Bet on the guy who's not had the title!"

Another thing: Why Bully isn't part of the tournament or at least made the TNA champion by default?

Another thing: Why Bully isn't part of the tournament or at least made the TNA champion by default? I'd guess the actual reason is because he has this feud coming up with Anderson while the other guys aren't doing that much and could easily all move into a tournament storyline, though still, you'd think they'd have left out Storm and just have Anderson cost him a first round match.

It wasn't just the lack of time away for Punk IMO (though that was an issue). Here's where other issues were. you have Rey Rey win the title AND HAVE HIM DROP IT TO CENA THE SAME NIGHT. THEN right after that happens Punk returns IN THE SAME NIGHT. You could have salvaged the angle, but you have Punk beat Cena with a screwy finish so his win wasn't clean and then you have ADR cash in after a random Kevin Nash run-in. Pretty much. And even then, if they had to have Punk back eight days later, they could have done it way better. If they were willing to go the patient route but wanted to do all of the same things, then it should have been something like... - The tournament happens, Rey Mysterio wins. - Play up how Alberto was screwed out of the title shot he won when Punk lost his title shot briefly, so that he's actually part of the angle from the get-go. - Cena beats Mysterio for the title at SummerSlam. - Punk returns to end the show, and they face each other at Night of Champions. Still would have been kind of rushed, but a month is a hell of a lot better than eight days. Or, if they wanted to really do it right but still in a short span of time, then... - The tournament happens, Miz wins. Preferably with some variety of shenanigans to actually set up Triple H refereeing the SummerSlam match instead of him doing it just because. - That same night, Cena invokes his rematch clause and despite Miz's attempts to get out of it, Triple H forces the match to go through and Cena wins then Punk returns. - Unification match set up for SummerSlam, with a triple threat between Cena, Punk, and Miz. Cena wins by way of pinning Miz while he has his foot on the ropes then Nash attacks Cena, leaving Punk and Miz to both have reason to think Triple H screwed them over while Cena actually has reason to be pissed about Alberto cashing in and deserves a rematch instead of randomly getting one over the guy who two PPVs in a row beat him. I like the first version quite a bit, especially since Mysterio/Cena was absolutely Summerslam main event material on its own merit.

On the plus side its very likely every match of that tournament will be at least pretty good. Lot of talent there.

nobody can stop Abeyance! Abeyance is so badass he has the world title in both WWE and TNA at the same time. Abeyance also knows the WHC is beneath him.

Though that line-up screams, "Bet on the guy who's not had the title!" Storm's in ahead of Daniels. They've only got 2 heels in the tourney, Sabin and Roode. They probably should have added Daniels instead of Storm to make it 3 heels, 1 tweener (Aries), and 4 faces. But my prediction is the finals are Jeff Hardy vs Magnus, with Magnus winning thanks to Dixie.

They can go two ways with the tournament, assuming Magnus is going to win it (safe bet at this point). If he stays a babyface, then the only logical reason for Styles to come back would be if Magnus begged him to (i.e. "I am not the real world champion until I beat AJ Styles"). However, if they want him to turn heel and win the tournament, then the reasons for AJ's return are a lot easier to explain. Dixie could proclaim that Magnus is the real world champion, that the company no longer needs AJ, etc, etc, and that would prompt Styles to return to be recognized as the real world champion. The latter is probably the more likely scenario.
This scenario is a long shot, but I'm hoping if Magnus wins the title tournament, that Dixie forms her own stable (say, Magnus, EC3, and Sabin), and then AJ brings back Alex Shelley (to deal with Sabin) and Jay Lethal to fight off the group since he mentioned those two specifically in his "shoot". Again, a long shot, but if Hulk goes back to the WWE, I'm sure they'll have money saved up to sign some guys back.

Yeah, no way Magnus doesn't win and end up as Dixie's chosen one.

Is there a link to this AJ worked shoot out there right now I misseed that that sounds interesting if he mentioned Shelley and Lethal by name.

Yeah, no way Magnus doesn't win and end up as Dixie's chosen one. I don't mind that idea at all. They seem to be moving toward a heel turn for him, so you may as well go all the way with it & have him be basically the cooperate Rock to Dixie's McMahon character. I still don't think it's a great idea to turn him heel though when they plan to head to the UK early next year. He could easily be the biggest star of the tour if he turns down the help of Dixie & becomes his own man, accepts Sting's help & wins the World Title.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Nash actually does show up. Matt Morgan will stick the winner during the match between the interim champion and TNA champ Styles. This will lead to Matt Morgan failed push number 10.

So how will this turn to Dixie vs. Nash in what will become the World's worst ladder match?

I'm guessing* Joe wins the belt, leading to a feud with Daniels where Danies finally wins the belt and then all three have a match as only they can together to signify a new start for the company.
*Hoping
