Being best friends with Tommy for 15 years THEN turning around and trashing him in a book is a pretty Mark-like move for Greg to pull. That's true, Greg ended up doing exactly what Mark would have done. You don't see Denny writing any books. I'm not sure Denny CAN write, but still... Denny was going to, but then he figured Chris R would take all his royalties and got scared.

I ended up feeling really bad for Juliette Danielle.
-it's made clear she got cast because she was the only actress in the whole of LA willing to make out with Tommy and put up with his weirdness
-Per Sestero, she barely got paid anything despite working for months on the film
-Wiseau embarrassing her in front of everyone by yelling about her back acne
-She's a decent-looking girl, and Sestero makes a point of saying that EVERYTHING in the role (clothes, lighting, make-up) seemed specifically designed to make her look significantly less hot that she was.
-Wiseau clearly getting off on their love scenes, while she's as freaked out as any woman would be having a naked Tommy Wiseau on top of them.
At least she's getting some acting gigs, again. So that's something.

I'm a little over halfway done. I have not laughed this hard at a book in ages.

I haven't read this yet but Huffington Post did have an excerpt: The story about how the "Oh hai Mark" scene took like 30-something takes and Tommy couldn't "get it" until someone came up with the idea of throwing the water bottle.

Whoever shot down that flying car vampire subplot needs to be blacklisted from the business.

LMAO wow I got it in the mail YESTERDAY, read it all in one day.
I went in expecting a funny book, and came out incredibly depressed and feeling really bad for Tommy.

always liked Patton Oswalt's theory for how The Room got funding, myself. "You ah CRUSHING MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LIKE A CHEESE SANDWICH!!!!!!!" Also, my friends and I like to joke that because Tommy is from some nondescript Eastern European country, he got his money by harvesting the organs of dead Serbian children in the wars of the 1990s.

This thread made me go buy this on Kindle. It's awesome, and I'm loving it so far.
A lot of the stories already mentioned also made me laugh. I think another one that hasn't been mentioned so far that needs to be mentioned:
During the scene where Johnny and Mark talk on the rooftop about women, and they got to the part where Mark would tell the story about a woman he knew who was beaten up by an ex-boyfriend for cheating, and Johnny says the "What a story, Mark!" line. Every time Greg finished telling the story about the woman being beaten up, Tommy Wiseau laughed creepily and delivered his line. This kept happening for a few times until finally, someone took Tommy aside and told him that laughing about domestic violence is incredibly disturbing, and that he shouldn't do it, lest the movie seriously offend people. So they tried shooting the scene again, and this time, when Greg finished telling the story, Tommy said "What a story, Mark" in a completely emotionless, flat, unexpressive monotone, which only managed to be even creepier. In the end, they went with a take that had Tommy laugh at the story even more creepily than he had in previous takes.

So if I understand, the general consensus on this book is essentially "Ah ha ha! What a story, Mark!".
