WUT DA HAYUL?!
Blowing out BOTH of your hips? That's above Kevin Nash walking across the ring and tearing his quad to me.

In his place will be an unmemorable, bland, and nondescript jobber that will be easily forgotten about. Thankfully no one will notice the difference. I see nothing wrong with this. Maybe. Heyman picks someone like Ryder to defend the belt in Axel's absence, Ryder promptly gets squashed and loses. Axel returns pissed at Ryder for losing the title for him and they feud. A guy can dream right? Ok its not cute anymore that you're trying to make Ryder happen.

Now this is an injury that will be talked about for years to come.
Vince McMahon's double quad tear is now a thing of the past.

That's cool of WWE to give Vacant the IC Title right after he will probably lose the WWE Championship

Depending on how long he's out, can we just have Heyman try to get the IC title awarded to Ryback, and have Big E. contest it?
Because it sounds like we were headed towards a Langston/Ryback feud anyway, and no one is going to be sad over not seeing Axel defend/drop the IC title. Or wrestle at all, really.

Blew out BOTH hips?? By God, he finally did it. Curtis Axel just did something people will remember him for.
...........Seriously, I'm not an Axel hater and hope he recovers fine.

Two hips blowed out at the same time?! Ryback's CARELESSNESS stroke again, and I bet Heyman was watching all along.

In speaking to a few people backstage, I was told Curtis Axel suffered a hip flexor injury on Raw. The company wasn't sure what his diagnosis would be until Friday, which is why nothing was announced until today. There were a lot of people who were down that he was hurt since he's popular among the wrestlers and is seen as someone who works hard in the ring and has done whatever the company has asked of him since debuting on the main roster. There's no word on how long Axel will be out and no one I spoke to knew what it meant, if anything, for the Intercontinental championship. ---PWInsider www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=81182

Seriously, I'm really sorry to hear that he got hurt and I hope he makes a speedy recovery but I couldn't help but crack up when I read that he blew out BOTH hips. The first thing that came to mind was, "That's our Axel!"

This is a shame. I was actually rather excited for this match as I love Big E & think Axel is a very capable worker. This really should of been Big E's time to shine.
Hopefully he can get a spot on the PPV, maybe by fighting off Ryback after the HIAC so Punk can get Heyman one on one.

I say so long as he's not out too long just keep the belt on him. It just means they have one less title to worry about. Plus maybe they can really build some heel heat with Heyman giving us constant Axel recovery updates, and putting him on a pedestal as a fallen hero. Then whenever he returns they can either have him squashed in his first match back, or try and run with whatever steam they've built up over his absence.
Give Langston the US title, and make that belt matter again.

What is a hip flexor strain?
A strain is a stretch or tear of a muscle or tendon, a band of tissue that connects muscle to bone. The tendon may be inflamed. Inflammation of a tendon is called tendonitis. The hip flexor muscles allow you to lift your knee and bend at the waist.
How does it occur?
Hip flexor strain occurs from overuse of the muscles that help you flex your knee or do high kicks. This injury occurs in bicyclists, athletes who jump or run with high knee kicks, athletes like soccer players who do forceful kicking activities, and people who practice the martial arts.
How long will the effects last?
The length of recovery depends on many factors such as your age, health, and if you have had a previous hip flexor injury. Recovery time also depends on the severity of the injury. A mild hip flexor strain may recover within a few weeks, whereas a severe injury may take 6 weeks or longer to recover. You need to stop doing the activities that cause pain until the hip has healed. If you continue doing activities that cause pain, your symptoms will return and it will take longer to recover.

Give Langston the US title, and make that belt matter again. The U.S. Belt should not matter more than the IC belt. They should either be equal or the IC title should be more important. The idea of awarding the IC Title to Ryback is a good idea.
