Here's the funny thing about the crowd, and I'm going to cop to the hypocrisy here - I only care what they think when it suits my agenda. The fact that they don't remotely react to del Rio, or tend to shit on boring filler matches? Good, I eat that up. Them cheering for Big Show? I don't care what they think then, I still want him off of my screen. If they actually did that, it would be forcing your opinion upon theirs. If enough people enjoy Big Show, they have every right to enjoy him and to be able to see him. I am not saying have Big Show end every RAW Stone Cold style, but he can entertain whoever is there to see him yet not be all over everywhere. I agree to a point, but WWE has, and continues, to force opinions repeatedly. Someone gets over that shouldn't, well just have them lose enough times until the kids start booing them, or release them, or don't put them on TV for six months. Super face getting massive "go away" heat? Ignore it, and push them to the moon. Heel getting cheered too much? Turn them babyface and change their gimmick to where the fans hate them. It's all a form of psychological manipulation. Want a song to be popular, oversaturate the airwaves and it WILL become so. People might hate it, but they'll still find themselves drawn to it. By all accounts Show is a wonderful human being, and the man can be serious or comedy, and can play both a face and a heel well. His size makes him a draw and as a talent he's a solid utility player. He can fit anywhere on the card that you need him. So I don't begrudge them wanting to give him some spotlight as a way of saying "thanks for doing whatever we ask for 14 years". It's a sign of respect that he's earned. Having said that, does it make sense to change the focus of the angle, as they have done before for no apparent reason? No. Look, I'm not a NASCAR fan so I'm sorry if I mess this analogy up but I'll do my best. If I'ma fan of the driver Mark Martin, and he's doing really well and winning races, I'm happy. Now, if the team he races for says "they're just cheering for the car, so we can have anybody drive it, and we've got the guy that's worked for us for years, he's a solid hand, let's let him run the races instead" am I going to be happy? No, because it takes away what I was cheering for and assumes that I'll still react the same way. If I'm watching Rambo and mid-way through they take out Sly and put in Frank, am I going to be happy since, hey, the hero is still named Stallone?

Sarcasm, It's quite good. We need to wait because hold your f***ing hats we might get....ready? ORTON VS CENA!!!Rocketship like ratings folks. Feel free to join my hiatus bus, we serve cookies. Do you serve Rhodes Bros., Shields, Wyatts, Bryans and Punks though? If not, I'm gonna stick on the watch every week train, for better or worse. We do, but only in small 5 minute meals

Fantasy booker time. (meaning, none of this will happen.) I gotta feel they're adding HBK in there as well. Not sure where this "devil" thing is going, but somewhere down the line, Heyman returns with Lesnar, going back to the only "Heyman Guy" that can beat Punk. I'm saying they go with the title unification at Rumble. Orton wins, Cena moves on to Taker. Somewhere along the way, HBK realizes HHH was using him. DB wins the Rumble. Mania is HHH/HBK, Orton/DB, Punk/Lesnar, Cena/Taker well its worth noting that {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Lesnar/Taker looks like it is set on the table {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I know. It'll be a fine match.

You can stop right there, the fact of the matter is that he doesn't entertain YOU. But this isn't an example of WWE forcing a reaction, because the reaction is there. There are plenty of examples where they do, like that hair dryer on Smackdown (that really needs to go away). The crowds have ate up Show going against the Authority. They chanted for him to help Bryan a while ago in the angle even! They want to see Big Show, so they've listened and are doing things with him to make them happy. What makes you're opinion to Show right and they're reactions to him wrong? Why should he have to be off TV completely? Why not let him get the spotlight just here and there to send a crowd home happy? He shouldn't end the main event on RAW every week, but he's not going to. The main event next week will be something different. With probably Punk and Bryan, or the Rhodes next time. But he doesn't need to be taken off the show completely either, and to do so because some people online hate him while a number of crowds of people still love him would be using the same mindset that WWE has with that hair dryer.

You can stop right there, the fact of the matter is that he doesn't entertain YOU. If I'm buying their DVDs and their video games and their shirts, they damn well better entertain me. The fact is, it's the shortsighted mindset that's causing people to look at everyone else on the roster and believe that they don't amount to shit unless they started wrestling in or before 2002. Punk and Bryan are fine because they had their established fanbase, but god forbid anyone else try to move up on the roster. It's why I brought up Kofi Kingston. Kingston's been stuck in limbo for the past six years, and they gave him one shot and said "That's enough out of you." The Miz, one shot, sent him back down the card. Jack Swagger, BARELY got one shot, and he was a joke from RKO one. The Big Show isn't a bad personality, but in 2013, there's no reason why he should be the main event.

I didn't say he should be the main event. There are others out there who also may be buying merchandise, and some of them just might be fans of Big Show. They'll buy tickets to see him if Survivor Series is in their area. If week after week the crowds support someone when they are running wild, than I say let them enjoy it. Wrestling isn't a business well you put the wants of the few over the many. With Kofi, he had at least two feuds, one with Orton, and the other with Miz when he hit him hard with his finisher. I can't say why he hasn't got anymore shots than Miz has. The thing is, there are a lot of factors at play in a business like this. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. We don't know who aspires to be at the top in WWE and who is satisfied with just coasting along. It could be that Kofi likes where he is like with Shelton Benjamin. I have no idea.

See you next week! No really, see you next week. I'm joining you in that. Fine, you two are done. I believe you. Why do y'all have to make a show about it though? Why am I supposed to care that you've stopped caring? I don't care if you don't care, I am apathetic to your apathy. Don't make a big show of it, and then maybe you'll stop hearing "See you next week!" so many times. WEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

So, Sandow got buried about eighteen feet under, Bryan's demoted to facing the Wyatts and to make that all the more fun Punk's part of it too, and we get Stone Cold Paul Wight against Randy Orton standing in for Triple H. Yep, I'm done. You said that in the PPV thread Sunday.

Yep, I'm done. You said that in the PPV thread Sunday. And I followed up by saying in the current stance on WWE thread that I would give the one Raw a shot, just to be fair and since I'd calmed down a bit. I gave it a shot, I'm finished now.

I hate the Wyatt Family so much. Bray Wyatt/Husky Harris is hot garbage. I don't even know the names or the other two. If they're going to be all over Raw each week, I may stop watching. Or bitch on this message board. Either/or. You may stop watching? Oh no! Did you read the entire sentence or just stop there? Obviously I wasn't serious.

I think some people in this thread can't separate what they want, with what the WWE should do. Look if you don't like Show in the angle that's cool, but why should the WWE removed him from the angle if he's getting super hot with the crowd. It's kinda odd to me that the same reason people want D-Bryan to get pushed to be the top man, they are discrediting with Show.
Bryan is over with the crowd which is great, but so is Show right now. It will be foolish for the WWE not to strike when the iron is hot with Show and have him do a filler feud with Hunter/Randy. In this scenario it's not like the crowd will forget and stop cheering for Bryan, they will still do the Yes chants and pop when he enters. The WWE is just putting their eggs in more than 1 basket now and would rather have 3-4 guys get over from this angle then just Bryan himself.
