Seeing pics of Shelly Marrinez as Ariel in the WWE forum inspired this. I have a soft spot for the goth girl characters of wrestling, in no small part because they are do few and far between . Outside of Shelly I am sure Daffney is the other one who will immediately leap to mind for a lot of people. But they surely can't be the only ones. And surely goth girls exist in wrestling in Mexico and Japan as well. Share some glamorous gothic gals of wrestling with your fellow FANNERS.

It can be difficult, since punk and goth can overlap.
Synn, Cornette's wife, is one who springs to mind, certainly.

There was the atrocious Clone match, I don't remember the girl's name. Living Dead Girl - probably the worst wrestler the world has EVER seen. She's worse than any backyarder I've ever seen. Here she is in a match against a young Velvet Sky: If Velvet Sky has to carry you through a match it's bad, but she is even worse than that. She is truly awful. I don't know who decided it was a good idea to let her have wrestling matches, but she makes Sharmell and Jeanna Morasca look like Flair and Steamboat. GOD, she sucks! Paige kinda has a dark chick look about her. Paige is more of a metal girl. Chif is kinda gothy, but I wouldn't have thought girls like that went for guys like Elgin. |
