Imagine if this guy applied for the Gut Check when they had their own pages.

Imagine if this guy applied for the Gut Check when they had their own pages. I imagine he probably did but got turned down. I also think he's the type of guy who truly believes he's the guy who could "take TNA to the next level , brother!"

I went on ebay figuring I'd find a dozen listing of signed photos with "WWE WWF Wrestling Legend Brimstone" and was surprised there was only one 8x10. It was signed at the Wrestler's Rescue show in 2008 and the seller (not him) cited since then his appearances have been "few and far between." Yeah, because promoters don't generally bring indy-at-best guys to sign at legends conventions. What makes me realize it's not him selling is that the seller cited he's an underrated wrestler. If it were actually him he would cite himself as a Cena-like star.

Being in the acting industry this is relatively common where you use your writing ability to make yourself seem more professional, likable etc but the key to this is being 100% truthful. I can't fault him for being on Wikipedia because to be honest it probably helps him get bookings and he's an indy guy so that's helpful. But appearing at a Comic Con where people pay for your autograph? Come on... Then you have the amusing claims of him being an actor, artist, food critic etc etc. It's all a lie for him to mark out for himself but people are always going to believe it and think he's a somebody. I really feel for the father or mother who go to the Allentown Comic Book Convention and pick their kid up a wrestling autograph of Brimstone. As for his acting roles. Most of them consist of internet web shows or very small parts in micro budget Feature Films. Not an Actor. Here's his IMDB page. It's pretty funny: www.imdb.com/name/nm2620244/Wait a minute...they made another "sequel" to Escape from New York?

Haha yeah. You can't even get $10 for some legends. The seller is probably some guy who fell for the wiki-like stories at the convention and probably said the F word when he realized who Brimstone is...or isn't. So he's trying to pawn off the photo to someone equally as uninformed about wrestling.

Brimstone deserves a job in the WWE. Writing Wrestler Bios & completing their wiki pages. Del Rio's writer memo "How does this look? I know he's supposed to be a big deal fairly quickly" becomes "How does this look? I know he's supposed to be a big deal, like me."

I think you guys are missing the point, if he did make this himself he has a pretty good sense of humuor, It's not meant to be taken seriously.
I hate how the first reaction is for people here to attack him as being a nobody and he shouldn't have a long wiki page because "i've never heard of him",or that he is a delusional mark for himself, When the whole thing looks like a clever satire/parody of Indy wrestlers and Wikipedia in general. He's taking the piss that's all.
If someone from Chikara had done this it would be seen as god's latest gift to the internet.

Most guys from Chikara don't have their own self-written, self-published comic book series with themselves as the hero.

You see, that'd make total sense if the dude wasn't appearing at legitimate autograph signings and events and lying to people about how great he is. He also wouldn't be on IMDB if this was all meant to be one big clever work. I'm on IMDB and so are a lot of my friends and it's a way to get more acting work and show off legitimate credits to producers, directors etc. They don't just put people trying to be funny on it. Also, this quote from page 1 points out that it isn't a joke: as I love pointing out everytime he comes up he is a friend of a friend. I've never met him but my brother's former roommate is/was one of his friends... and by all accounts he seems to believe he is as great as his wikipedia would lead you to believe.

You are right. I still think more people should do it as a work though.
