You know, I think I've been had. They probably did plan this from the beginning. Putting him over Cena clean for the title then having him get cashed-in on right away HAD to lead to him winning it back and having a real reign. Not doing so goes against all storytelling and pro wrestling logic. WWE does some dumb stuff, but if they wanted to keep him out of the title picture, he would've never won the title in that Summerslam main event. It's cool though, I just bet against what I wanted to happen, so I win either way! It's like starting players that are playing against your favorite team in fantasy football. If Roethlisberger carves up the Browns, I win! If the Browns shut him down, hooray for me! I CAN'T LOSE!!! I think the only reason they had him beat Cena clean was because Cena was injured and they needed Bryan in a strong position to carry a few rematches while he was out since the only real alternative was Punk, and with him going up against Lesnar there wasn't really a way to transition him into it right off (plus, even before Orton turned heel rumors were saying Orton / Punk for the title at Mania 30). I don't think it's much of a coincidence that Bryan was suddenly out of the title picture at Cena's second PPV back; I think the only reason he was still in the match at Hell in a Cell is because they wrote themselves into a corner with the title being vacant.

I'll change when Mania's over. Don't want to jinx the last match.
And it's okay, Magiconz. I'll still follow you into battle, anytime.

There's the issue for this bet. I would have agreed to take the bet, if the bet also included the following [which I feel would be reasonable given storyline/Gauntlet]: -It would also count if, instead of winning the WWE belt, then between now and April 7th, Daniel Bryan defeats Triple H cleanly in a one-on-one Pay-Per-View match. If you'll add that stipulation, I'm in. Otherwise, not totally feasible. UPDATE: Magiconz was good enough to change the bet to hurt him with the "If Bryan beats Triple H cleanly", so I'll hurt myself by following the exact definition I said above. Magiconz said "if Daniel Bryan defeats Triple H cleanly", he loses- but didn't dictate a show. Since I said up there it had to be a Pay-Per-View match- if Daniel Bryan defeats Triple H cleanly on Raw or Smackdown (or NXT or Superstars, but come on- like that'll happen), then you can still hold me to the bet if Daniel Bryan is not the WWE Champion. This says it all. (And before quoting I was first to tap), that's why it's First Call, First Drop.

Now we all bet whether he loses the belt tomorrow. I stake nothing.
