I honestly thought Rocknaldo just plain sucked. It wasn't funny outside of the anime part and the idea of a durian juice box and even if those were enough to sustain it they came back-to-back, and I didn't like Ronaldo to begin with but he was a million times worse than usual in this one.
I tend to not really care as much about the human stuff anyway, but it can win me over while this one... Yeah, just sucked.

Lars literally turned into the FAN Proboards for Tiger Philanthropist
"Man what a weird angle, it just came out of nowhere, they could have just done so much more with the character!"
"Like what?"
"I don't know, I'm a complicated boy I don't know what I want for Breakfast half the time!"
I swear we've had these convos on the board before...

Tiger Philanthropist
Lars said this was a sequel no one asked for, my sentiment exactly. Not a bad episode, nothing new was added to the trouble, nothing that couldn't have been done off screen or in the comics.
I guess we can close the book on Amethyst self esteem issues. And that fact that Lars doesn't know Tiger's identity really frustrate, you all know how I feel about secret identity tropes, and just adds to that frustration.
In the end, Steven and Amethyst did what they call in the wrestling business, they jobbed their way out, that is what you are suppose to do.

To be fair I think Lars just doesn't want to admit that Tiger is Steven, he just has his own persona and image of Tiger in his head which he even stated in the episode. It's kinda like when Wrestlers do a double gimmick, I'm used to that in CHIKARA. Even as far back as Omega with Jeff Hardy, everyone knew he was Will O The Wisp, but when he revealed it during his last match it still kinda shocked the crowd into silence. It's one of those unwritten gimmick rules, it's a part of wrestling itself.

Fun episode. Besides, Steven did a german suplex on a man in a shark costume. That's impossible for me to not smile about.

I thought the episode was fun and the tag belts look pretty sweet. I don't like Amythists self esteem arc is done. I just think the hardcore self doubt portion is done.

Room For Ruby
This is one of those times when the heroes suffer a setback, and they deserved it. This is what you get for playing around with your enemies and not taking them seriously, Steven named them for pete's sake, they are not pets, so good for Navy, maybe Steven, Garnet, and the others learned a lesson. I am not mad at Navy, I am mad at our heroes especially Garnet for letting it come to this, this is not a game, and this is what you get.
On the bright side, Lapis you are awesome, you are the only character that wasn't a complete idiot in this episode. Lapis just being jealous, it reminds me of Katara in that waterbending scroll episode. And while everyone don't seem to care they lost the ship, Lapis is actually happy.
But the big news, it is pretty much the Lapidot, and I know the real reason Lapis did not another roommate, she did not want a third wheel.
Anyway good episode, at least if our heroes learn something from this. And Garnet you need to work on that future vision.

New Steven Bomb starts on the 8th.
Though... Honestly I'm starting to kind of lose my patience with this season, not helped by the fact the ad for the bomb is very, very centered on the residents of Beach City. I don't care about Beach City. I don't care about Lars. I don't care about Ronaldo. I don't care about the Pizzas. Doesn't help that all the stuff that's supposed to be advancing the Homeworld plot I actually do care about is doing it way too slowly. Nothing has really actually happened on that front since season two and we're near the end of four.

Kind of feels like this season has just had the life strangled out of it by the constant Beach City focus.

We're just under a week away from Steven bomb 6.
Cartoon Network uploaded the new episode on their servers a few days ago, but I think they may have been taken down.

The Steven Bomb's leaked if anyone wants to look into that. Personal thoughts are (spoilers within)... {Spoiler}It's really kind of a waste of a Steven Bomb because only really the third and fourth episodes really actually do anything or advance the plot. Kiiiind of the second too since it has some character development for Lars who looks to be elevated to main character status for a little bit, but still plot-wise not much actually happens.
That said, I am curious to see what's coming of Steven being stranded on Homeworld, though maybe less so than I'd be if Lars weren't there. I also really want to see more Aquamarine, she's a pretty great snide bitch character.

The episodes are on the CN app and were released by CN, so it's not really a leak. It's "if you want to watch the episodes now, get the app." It's basic advertisement.

I still don't like it, like if they count App Views towards to the episodes success, good, but I know a large sum aren't watching on the App they're waiting for Torrenters to plaster them on sites, Youtube, Dailymotion, etc... The App is a double edged sword in that regard.

If it makes you feel any better there seems to be another bomb scheduled for the end of May, so if this Bomb felt like it didn't have a lot going on, they may have planned for that with a quick turnaround.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler} And yes Aquamarine is amazing, I love her immediately.

I don't really have much to say about this episode. I avoided spoilers for weeks and this is what I get.
What Steven's name would be if he was a girl, I so had to know that.
Well still though I liked how in the end, Steven was made just to live his life and not have any grand destiny. Steven was over complicating things, which is what the fandom does.

Doug Out
This was a good episode, nice to get to know Doug a little bit more.
I love Connie's Carmen San Diago outfit, as for Steven, could do without the Italian stereo type.
This episode had excitement, and those shadowy figures, one looks like a robot and the other looks like Frankenstein.
I am mad that they were quick to dismiss Onion's claim of something follow him, we could have this whole conflict of this arc solved in this episode if they took Onion seriously.
A step up from "Lion 4: Alternative Ending" that is for sure.

Good Lars
Second episode in a row Steven doesn't take things seriously and could have solved this arc's problem much sooner. Someone ends up missing especially since he knows about the zoo plans, I would be worried.
Lars almost said he loved Sadie. Glad that Sadie got some character development, he got over her own in securities with the Cool Kids, who are awesome people, you don't have to be scared of them Lars, they don't bite.
Discovery another side of Lars is cool, and can't wait to find out what is going on.

Are You My Dad / I Am My Mom
So this concludes this arc, and what an conclusion. We thought it was about the human zoo, but really it became about Steven sacrificing himself for his friends and to pay for Rose's crimes.
Aquamarine and Topaz are two cool new gems, and personally I like them much more than over rated Ruby squad. They actually gets things done, and are higher ups in the Homeworld calls system, I love them already. More of them, and less Rubies please.
I am real disappointed in Lars, he ran away like a coward, and because of that he is the only one who didn't get away.
Jamie "I moved on I swear", he had some funny lines. Though he can be annoying, Aquamarine and Topaz are lucky there was a chance of plans and they didn't have to travel with him, but Lars is not much better.
I am glad Steven had his moment, he is done doing things like Rose wanted, he is being his own person, good for him.
