Well, we all knew this would happen, but now the Orioles and Blue Jays are tied for the division lead, Baltimore would win the tie breaker by .001 better win percentage

Friday's game between the Orioles and Red Sox has been postponed due to inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Arthur.

This White Socks poncho giveaway doesn't give the visual that was expected.. I was trying to find pictures or news articles about it after seeing Dan and Bomani make fun of it on Highly Questionable. I wonder what's next. My guess is next time they play the Tigers, they burn a giant wooden lower case "t" in front of US Cellular Field. Or introduce a chant of "WHITE SOX POWER!"

The past three weeks the Giants are the worst team in baseball At one time they were 42-21. Since then they are 4-17

Strange to see that the Cubs were playing as I was leaving work, after 4pm in the UK. They're leading the Nats 4-2 in the 7th.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Friday that it's "fair to say" CC Sabathia (knee) won't return this season.

There's a cruel irony in CC Sabathia shedding a tremendous amount of weight in the off-season, only for his body to break down the following spring. Maybe those so-called "fat activists" are actually onto something...

The Oakland A's make the big move. Trade prospects Addison Russell, Dan Straily and Billy McKinley to the Cubs for both Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel

Well, now the Orioles have a full lead on the division since the Jays lost again to Oakland.

Wow, at that Cubs/As trade. Shark and Hammel both, damn. The Cubs arguably already had the best group of position player prospects in MLB. But I'd say with this trade, there is no argument. Hell, Kris Bryant and Addison Russell may be the two best postion player prospects in MLB.
Though I expect some of the prospects to be part of a big offseason deal.
