It was either WM2000 or No Mercy... but the most devastating move in a Royal Rumble was the "get down on one knee and ring the bell(punch in the balls)" move.
You can eliminate people from like halfway across the ring if you attack from behind.

In WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It, it only takes three matches to not only get to WrestleMania, but to win the WWF Championship as well.
For the Gamecube wrestling games, in order to get outside during the Hell in a Cell match, you have to Irish whip your opponent into the cell wall three times.

In the old Raw game for SNES and Sega Genesis, Diesel and the 1-2-3 Kid were the same size, and Luna Vachon's grunts while being hit and choked were "female"-sounding.

Speaking of No Mercy, in the season mode, Steven Richards is actually a credible contender for the WWF Championship. Also, Edge has a rape face. View AttachmentThey removed Big Show from the game... but still wanted to do the Wrestlemania 2000 main event with the four way match... so they decided to replace all mentions of Big Show with Steven Richards, for some reason. |

I remember in earlier SmackDown games, the Rock would still do the "elbow-pad removal" motion even if he'd already used the People's Elbow and no longer had the elbow pad. I'm pretty sure he still did that in real life as well. Also, none of these things listed are Mundane. |

In WWF Smackdown 2, outside of unlocking characters, the storylines basically never end and go nowhere. Example -  You never find out. Also -  Here is an image of Vince, Shane and Stephanie McMahon attacking a parked car with weapons. I was never told why they did this. |

It was theoretically possible to have a tag team tables match of sorts in No Mercy if you used the announce table, the pool table, as well as the wooden table backstage, AND three different people were put through each one.
You could edit the appearances and names of wrestlers, but not their move-sets in WM2000/No Mercy, while you could edit movesets, but not appearances or names in the later SD games.

I remember a "curse" where whomever appeared on the Smackdown vs. Raw Cover was injured shortly after the games release. Apparently in the Gamecube games, if you get eliminated in the Royal Rumble, you cannot select another wrestler in order to keep playing. That is very baffling considering that the SmackDown games allow you to choose another wrestler after you've been eliminated.

Whenever you Pillmanize someone's ankle with a steelchair in one of the Smackdown vs RAW/WWE 2K games, it never makes a sound. That's always annoyed me.
There are alot of things wrong with WWE 2K14, but they really nailed AJ Lee's abs in that game.

Randy Orton's first video game appearance is in WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth. And he was only in the WWE for about a minute and a half when they put him in the game, so he's fairly weak. Also, he's got generic music, no RKO, and tights that look like shorts. |
