This is getting to 2006-2007 CM Punk levels of ridiculousness. All we need need is for Ryback to show up backstage wearing a fur coat and gold chains while making out with JoJo.

I would buy the Ryback has heat stories a lot more if he had one fued in the past year with someone who wasnt a main eventer. Loseing to C.M. Punk, Cena, Mark Henry, beating Jerico, then loseing to C.M. Punk again is the worst way ever to burry someone.

He lost to The Miz a few weeks ago as well. He was completely buried by Paul Heyman. He hasnt even sniffed the title scene since Cena put him through the ambulance. He was getting TV time with his bowly skits and now, he's getting jobbed. Yes, losing to Big Show is not a bad thing, but they didnt even build the match like it mattered. The saving grace with the Big Show match is that he was protected and made to look rather strong. I think its clear that Ryback has fallen out of favor. Whether its heat or not remains to be seen.

If having somebody kick out of your finisher means that you have heat--then every member of the WWE roster has heat.
At Wrestmania XIV, Undertaker must have had Nuclear Heat from threatening Shawn Michaels with his taped fists of doom, because Kane kicked out of his finisher twice.

Wasn't he recently rumored to be turning face to reestablish his push? I've about had it with NewZ sites. I rarely visit anymore.

His loss to R-Truth was a fluke. He got his win back from the Miz like a week or so later. It's not like he's eating a finisher in two minutes from Ryder or anything like that (although personally I think that would be awesome and it would be a more "productive" way to bury someone if they DID have heat).

Funny that, only last night whilst watching his match against Big Show I was thinking "They're really making Ryback look strong in this match".
A lengthy back and forth matchup against the number 1 contender for the WWE Champion which showcases your strength by lifting Big Show into your finisher doesn't suggest burial to me.

Sometimes they make him look decent and other times they make him look like a complete joke.

I don't think they would've done the spot where Ryback actually hit his finish on Big Show and looked so impressive if they were fully against the guy. They could've had Show hit him with a KO in 2 minutes.
Maybe they were hoping Ryback would botch it and look like a fool or something.

Lol, and there was just a report a few days ago that said Ryback was going to soon turn face and get in a feud with Lesnar.

The saving grace with the Big Show match is that he was protected and made to look rather strong. I think its clear that Ryback has fallen out of favor. Whether its heat or not remains to be seen. The Truth thing is about the only legitimate case of him being "berried," and even that was a fluke win. Miz is a former world champion (who isn't exactly being pushed to the moon himself) and Heyman's had words for everyone who's either lost his services or left them. As for not being in the title scene, there's a LOT of people who haven't been in the title scene for a minute. Hell, I don't think Punk's even been teased as entering the WWE Title scene since losing his rematch at Elimination Chamber, and I can't remember when Dolph's been considered for any title scene. It is clear that RyBack's fallen out of favor, but then again, so have a lot of people. This is the WWE; they have a habit of making people randomly not matter at a moments notice. RyBack's hardly an exception.
