The finish is totally Orton pulling down the WWE Title at the same time as Cena takes down the World Title, right? No, in a SHOCKING twist, Orton will pull down the WHC & Cena will pull down the WWE Title.

"Never Never" by Korn is the official theme song for TLC. AWESOME TIMES TEN. One of their best songs in years, IMO.

I'm shocked that we've been having ladder matches in this company for 20 years, and they've never ran a "controversial" finish where they've had two titles involved and both guys on the ladder pull down a different belt.

I'd give them that, except they actually have done the finish where a guy (or two, in that case) pulls down the title only to drop it and for the opponent to grab it off the ground and be declared the winner, which is dumb enough to make up the difference.

To be fair, I think Ziggler was supposed to catch the title after Kofi and Swagger dropped it, but then again, it doesn't make it much less goofy.

I would have loved it back in the tag-team TLC days, something like Christian getting one belt and and Jeff Hardy getting the other.

Maybe they'll add a rule that both belts must be pulled down by one competitor or something.

I'm picking Orton to win this match, but I think that we'll see Orton grab the World Title, while Cena grabs the WWE Title, resulting in a draw or something. The rematch happens at the Royal Rumble, where we get one true WWE champion.
At the end of all this, the World Title belt will be retired, and there will only be one WWE Title belt. I think this is a good thing for a few reasons. I also don't mind that Orton and Cena are the ones that are competing to determine the true face of the WWE, and the one true WWE champion.
I don't expect the match to be spectacular, but it should be pretty good.

Just realized at work today that there is now no chance that we will get a fatal 4 way tag TLC, now that Orton and Cena get the stipulation . Would have been amazing as well No cool spots with tables but there is still a chance we get a Rhodes Brothers vs Shield vs Real Americans vs Usos's in a Ladder match. Similar to the classic insanity of Londrick vs Regal and Taylor vs MNM vs Hardyz. It may not be a TLC (which I would have preferred and would have been a nice reflection on the old TLCs when tag team wrestling was at a great high 13 years back, especially considering how long it has been since the last tag team one with more than two teams) but that would be an instant buy for me. ....Saying that I am going to be buying/watching anyway just to see the reaction on here to Orton/Cena. Man that's going to be fun I wonder what they are doing with Punk/Shield and Bryan/Wyatts? I am very interested to how that gets booked

The more I consider Raw, the more I think the Orton/Cena match will NOT be a straight-up title unification match. They went out of their way to never actually say it was a unification match. Triple H just said he'd put both titles above the ring and have a TLC match. They never said 'unification.' Later in the show, I think Cole mentioned Jericho was the first Undisputed Champion, which I think was WWE's way of leading fans on to think this will be a unification match without saying it will.
As people were saying in the Raw thread, I think we could easily have Cena become WWE Champion and Orton become World Heavyweight Champion, or maybe they both keep their current title.
Of course WWE has three weeks to clarify. You just know WWE would rather have Cena with the WWE Championship and Orton with the World Heavyweight Champion.
If it was meant to be a title unification match, then WWE would come out and say it and promote the hell out of it. If WWE plans a swerve or want to switch the titles around, then they will lead-us along and only imply that it will be a unification match. The key thing to me is Hunter's description of the match. WWE justs seems to be on a big kick out of misleading us and screwing us lately.

Like how WWE announced that SmackDown guys could now appear on Raw but never officially ended the brand split. Or maybe Vince is crazy and hates the word unification.

Yeah, they just made/debuted the new/current new WWE Championship belt in February that probably cost a lot of money. Either they are keeping both belts for a while for whoever wins it, if it is officially undisputed obviously the WWE Championship is the one that continues both in look/legacy. Either way the WWE Championship belt, and thus the liniage of it is not going anywhere no matter when they officially make it Undisputed/take away the WHC.

Just realized at work today that there is now no change that we will get a fatal 4 way tag TLC, now that Orton and Cena get the stipulation . If it makes you feel any better, there's literally no actual difference rules-wise between a ladder match and a TLC match, since a ladder match has no DQs already.

I don't think we'll see a Bryan/Punk vs Wyatts match. I'm thinking the Wyatts have brainwashed Bryan or something.

I'm going to guess that they go with the double pull down deal and stretch the actual unification out to Wrestlemania with whoever wins the Rumble joining them in a 3 way, let's throw Jericho in since he's the first undisputed champion and make it a 4 way while we're at it. Either that or Cena gets screwed and has to win the Rumble to get a shot at double champ Orton, whichever is stupider.

I think Punk goes after the Shield. Question is, who will be his partners, since it's likely DB will take on Los Wyatts at TLC.
