Is this where they're going with Sandow and Ziggler? How did Ziggler fall so far this year? Why is Sandow generic as all hell? Why do these matches have dumb stipulations? Has parity booking ever really got anyone over?
Sometimes I wonder if WWE throws darts at a wall or flips a coin or lets fans actually vote for ideas when it comes to booking basic television segments with the most random, disconnected, and character-damaging segments possible.

Meh hardcore matches are fun and at least they have something to do each week.

And why did they strip Sandow's gimmick away? I know they have the moronic idea that dudes need to be boring to be taken seriously as main eventers, but he's floundering around at exactly the same midcard level he was before, only now he's generic and aggressive instead of being a pretentious dork.

The match was great. I don't see the problem with an unofficial Best of 5 Series between these two.

I like their random garbage matches. I can't say it's helping either guy, other than "hey have some TV time fellas!"
It would be hilarious if it gets more and more intense and ends up with a bed of nails match or something ridiculous, all the while they don't even really hate each other they just keep getting booked against each other.

Sandow is a mess right now character wise, but you can't tell me Ziggler isn't benefiting from this. I'm enjoying him a lot more as a goofier, more over the top babyface instead of the faux-Bryan fiery face he was after the Del Rio concussion. He may be discovering his milleu.

Said it in the RAW thread, I'll say it here.
Parity Booking. THAT'S THAT SHIT THAT I DON'T LIKE.

Also, Sandow still talked the same way he always does. He hasn't lost his gimmick.

Ziggler was ruined by WWE. Sandow .... … last year he was in my TOP FIVE (DAWG) now... now i keep forgetting that he even exists. They took EVERYTHING from him

These gimmick matches could be Ziggler's niche. Ziggler would actually make a nice PG-Hardcore Champion if they brought the title back.

The wins/loss records would matter a lot less if they gave these guys some semblance of a story/character to work with.
"Hey, you 2 really talented wrealters who are gold on the mic and over with the crowd,....uh, go have matches and stuff."
WWE writing at its best.

Said it time and time again, no dedicated jobbers = staleness. If everyone on the roster has faced everyone else, sooner rather than later it gets dull. In the old days you had less WWE programming, fewer PPV's and stars were kept apart until big events. That way was better.

Just wait until next week when Raw is in Oklahoma. They'll fight in an Okie-Dokie Slobberknocker match where they'll fight wearing fat suits and cowboy hats to mock JR and whip each other with strips of beef jerky.

I'm convinced this company has forgotten how to book wrestling. It's become so ingrained in their minds that they are a variety show, that the old ways of getting people over have been lost, in addition to the fact that non-wrestling writers have taken over from the old skool wrestling people who knew the tried and tested formulas. When you add that to the carny mentality of public burials and two people running things (HHH and Steph) who are marks for their own characters (disasterous for someone with on/off screen power), it creates the crappy product we see today.

And they'll have to have half their faces taped up, because Vince can't resist making fun of Bells Palsy either.

People like Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd should be stars in their own right, and not just fodder to be jobbed out.
