I feel bad because when I like a post, I always forget to like the post, then I wonder if I should retroactively like all the posts I forgot to like in the first place. It's like a like conundrum.

The best thing is when you post something, and then come back the very next day and have 20+ likes on that post.

I will admit, I do tingle when I see a post of mine had gotten a like. Though there's always those nights where you half-consciously post something a tad controversial before bed and wake up to like 18 notifications and think "Oh no what the hell did I post?" Then you find out FAN is just as twisted as you are.

Honestly a like notification is usually a letdown for me. A quote means someone's replied to my post, which gives me something to do...

Its funny. When the board upgraded, everyone was laughing at the whole "like" thing.
They are nice to get. I usually get 1 or 2 notifications a day. I wonder who get the most and how much they get? Has anyone ever gotten 100 or more?

I like it too, but am kind of an elitist douche about it myself.
If I liked every single thing said here that I agreed with, we'd be here all day.
I try to reserve it for special instances where somebody really criticals me.
