Illegal touching ends it for the Steelers. He's in trouble again?!?

It was clearly unintentional and the fact that people think Tomlin would do that is laughable. Why exactly is he facing that direction to begin with? Is he watching the run from the Jumbotron? I find even stranger that he's so far out.

Redskins OC Kyle Shanahan dismissed comments made by 49ers OLB Ahmad Brooks, who said Robert Griffin III "shouldn't be playing," by saying RGIII is "healthy."

It's not like he and his dad would admit it if he wasn't. And if he gets hurt, it'll be the same "I let Robert make the decision" BS that we got last year. The last decade has convinced me that John Elway is the only reason Shanahan has had a head coaching career.

Agree with almost everything you said except Kyle Shanahan is Mike's son and not his brother.

Sorry, but I just can't believe that the head coach ofthe team who was about to give up a touchdown just happened to get right in the way of Jacoby Jones, and he just happened to be facing the direction opposite that the action was happening, completely oblivious to what was going on behind him. Couple that with that shit eating grin afterwards and you get an absolute intentional move that ought to get him a fine at least. Tomlin's not stupid; he knew exactly what he was doing.

Tomlin is in the wrong, because even if he was oblivious to what was happening(which I don't believe at all) he should have been penalized for basically being on the field. Dude was like 3 yards past that yellow line that everyone is supposed to be behind. Dude knew what he was doing.

They were never a Super Bowl team, but they were solid.

I don't understand why he'd risk getting a penalty though? It doesn't make any sense and a grin doesn't really mean he's guilty. He was probably trying to play off how embarrasing that was for him. You're right...Tomlin isn't stupid and is probably one of the better coaches in the league. "I hope the refs don't see what I'm trying to do..."

As for Tomlin, he's way too smart a coach to not be aware of where he was on the field. That was intentional and I'm amazed the refs didn't give the Steelers 15 yards for Unsportsmanlike. They also could've potentially given the Ravens a free touchdown if they thought he impeded the return man from getting into the end zone. But that was more of a judgment call. Either way he's getting a fine. I'd be shocked if he didn't.

So very close

Also interesting note: no one has ever won a Super Bowl as head coach with two different franchises. You had a couple of coaches like Parcells come close, but were just short.
