Right?
I mean the matches were fun even if they've could've used one or two more, the comedy was gold and the segments made sense. I'm almost ready to get excited for the product again.

I was gonna point this out myself too. The way the show went reminded me of 2005-2007 era of Impact. I'm not gonna say it was a great Impact this week, but I like how the cleansing of hogan and bischoff is starting to show.

The FSN days with Dusty's booking were pretty horrible.

Whaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt? This week was terrible. And the survivor series match made sense in the sense that Kurt Angle is really bad at picking teammates.

This is what TNA needs to be about. I haven't watched in longest time a full 2h show, but after seeing the comments here I went back and watched it. And enjoyed it a lot.
The wacky stuff is what makes for great TV, reminded me of NXT Redemption. If you cut the 15 minutes that Dixie was on TV this was a great show.

Scott Damores era of TNA was the best wrestling in years Agreed. His one major story - essentially Gangs of New York with Jeff Jarrett as Bill the Butcher and Christian as Amsterdam - is an absolute favorite of mine. That was really the first time mainstream wrestling became "must-see" television. As for the topic at hand, i like where this is going. Then again, I'm a fan of Jeff's booking style.

I think TNA was better in 1997 with the NWO and everything

Nope because the FSN days would had a good to great X Division match, Monty Brown being awesome, and Planet Jarrett bringing the show down. This Impact was nowhere near great even by the Holiday episode forgiveness scale.

Never really thought the FSN shows were that great. It was usually the weekly PPVs that made up for it.

I look at it this way, Impact was better than Raw and Smackdown this week which is what they need to strive for every week

If it gets to be more like 2009 again, lemme know. I'll tune in more than ten minute spurts at a time every three months or so.
