I think it speaks to the diversity of Punk, not only in terms of appearance but in terms of character, that so many people point to his various looks & characters as the definitive Punk.

I'll give the guy credit, he tends to go head first into whatever character he's playing and because of that, tends to make the appearance that goes along with it memorable in it's own right.

I agree with the OP, it's not my favorite look of Punk's but I remember when he first buzzed his hair and just came out looking cocky and mean, thought it was great.

I think his wolverine looks great because he automatically looks like a babyface. I like his skinhead look because he looks like a evil asshole heel. If he's aware of this then kudos to Punk

Not on the same level as Punk. But Jericho has changed his looks a lot over the years as well

I am trying to think of more examples.....

Bryan is getting there, with how much he has changed his look in the company on a few occasions now. I just really want to see him with bald head/long beard and mustache like he did in ROH at one point
