As far as I know the flags stay the same. It's the flags in which the title is defended in. They could stay the same as in that second picture you posted I was right at least about Japan being on there. However, there are certainly some countries left out. I'm pretty positive there have been NWA title matches in at least England and German, in addition to probably some more, but those aren't on the belt. The flag location change over time depending on who made the belt. For example here the orignal NWA Belt that Flair own before selling it to the WWE.

I think it is more WWE took it when they paid off all the people Flair borrowed money from while using it for collateral.

Maybe Shane persuaded him to, he was trying to collect for a physical Hall of Fame

Hell, I'd say the ROH Tag Titles look good enough to be a world title in any company.

Absolutely miles ahead of any title... Not my favorite, but I liked it. It's a shame they didn't use it for longer. How long did it even exist for? 2002-2005 or something?

I was a fan of the police badge belt itself, ROH's previous world title, held by only 5 men.

If so, then why wouldn't they use the Maple Leaf? Did they just recycle old plates?

The plaque just seemed to indicate that particular belt was made in 1973. Thus, causing my confusion. Also Side Question prompted by this thread: It sounded like a few posters were indicating that they move the flag of the country the belt is being defended in to the "USA Spot," is that true?
