WWE posted that they gave some people some promotions, mostly suits, but one clearly sticks out and it's this. Maybe Creative can finally get a little breathing room! In not so good news... Can't win them all. Full Article: corporate.wwe.com/news/2013/2013_12_04-.jsp

So Steph isn't working with the creative team, and yet creative's real world version of Patterson and Briscoe is going to oversee everything.

I love how getting moved out of creative is treated as a promotion.
Love him or hate, agree with him or disagree with him, Vince Russo had the most important job during the hottest period of WWE history. After he left, Chris Kreski did an admirable job at continuing momentum and carrying forward a vision of what the WWF should be. Following him, Stephanie always treated the job like a joke. Good riddance, but I don't think things will improve whatsoever. The backstage culture has changed too much, as Russo commented on during his one day back in 2002.

Vince is, has and until the day he dies always will be in charge of creative and to be honest, I wouldn't be shocked if he had some sort of video will set up like "Boss" Hoss Heartshe to ensure he has complete control decades into his death. To completely blame Steph is shortsighted, IMO, when the only control she most likely has is over how and when Vince's grand ideas are incorporated. That is not to say she doesn't deserve some blame but she is just far from the issue.
Now, all that said, I wouldn't be shocked if she was still in charge of creative, just given a new title and purpose to go with it.

Don't know that this will matter much, when Vince or his producers are the ones that mess things up, but if Steph getting kicked upstairs allows more breathing room, I guess this is good.

I wish Kevin Dunn would be promoted to retirement.

No people, no this is double good news.
Stephanie off creative. Dunn, executive producer. We know from movies that executive producers are generally hands off. Vince was exec producer for some of the early Rock films.
Let's hope this the start of a change.
Isn't Steph's job, Shane's old job?

Honestly it doesn't matter, Stephanie is going to outright own the WWE one day, the joke is on us.

You guys do know that Executive Producers are normally far less hands-on than Producers, right? Dunn may be getting paid more to do less, which is fine by me.

It's amazing how much hate Kevin Dunn gets from strangers basing their opinion entirely on nothing.

Kevin Dunn is a greater evil than Stephanie McMahon, so this a negative for me.

It's amazing how much hate Kevin Dunn gets from strangers basing their opinion entirely on nothing. Entirely nothing? There's been many examples that have been put forward that show how inept this guy is. There's also that great clip from Tough Enough 2 where completely dismisses John Morrison, despite everyone else being okay with him. But because Dunn was who he was, Morrison was cut.

I like Triple H in charge of Talent Relations & Creative.
He's now basically Head Booker in the classical sense of it. He decides who's on the roster and who they work.
It's hard to be in a situation where Creative and Talent Relations is split, even if they're husband & wife.
But the onus is on him to succeed. Where will he take the show now that he controls it all?
Stephanie has basically become a corporate embassador, and off of the wrestling aspect entirely. Good. Nothing against Stephanie McMahon, looks like a smart women and all, but to quote Cornette, she needs to be booking wrestling as much as I need to be the head of NASA.
