I'm intrigued by his character I'm wondering where they're going with it. Gives kind of an American Psycho vibe sort of?

I never understood skits like this. Is he a great wrestler because he's OCD and obsessive outside the ring? These vignettes make no sense. Typical 90's BS.

Definitely not her husband. Yeah, we're here talking about Sam Shaw, but how about Christy Hemme cheating on her husband? Come on Christy, don't be a sunny. Don't be passed from wrestler to wrestler like so many somas.

Yes because we all know that the gimmicks before the 90s totally reflected how good a wrestler was. Gimmicks have always been like this and seeing a guy threaten to f***ing kill another guy does a lot more for his character as a WRESTLER than Kamala being a wild man or Koko B Ware being a bird handler and whatever other shit was going on in the 80s.

I'm fully aware of gimmicks from the 80's thank you. The point I'm making is how will Sam Shaw's outside life benefit him in the ring? Will he insist that the referee slap the mat for a 3 count on the exact same spot every time? I'm all for gimmicks and vignettes but a gimmick like this has NO legs, just like Val Venis. My 90's comment goes with the Attitude Era where all these mini videos popped up yet the guys who actually became stars and money makers were the ones without silly gimmicks taken out of movies and other TV shows. As for Kamala, at least he was a savage in the ring who was so primitive, he didn't even know how to cover an opponent for a 3 count. Dumb as the gimmick was, at least he translated it to the ring.
Take Christopher Daniels for example. Great wrestler who is now basically a comedy goof. Comedy is good for a supplement but it doesn't sell or draw in wrestling.

First, 90 percent of wrestlers would kill for the careers Daniels and Val had. Second, you're thinking far too literal. It's enough for this guy to be a weird, obsessive jerk who lashes out at people when they don't do EXACTLY what he wants.

I like that Hemme's wedding ring was clearly visible during the segment.

I want him to get knocked out of the ring mid-match, grab a microphone and say "I have to return some videotapes!" before running out of the arena.

I want him to get knocked out of the ring mid-match, grab a microphone and say "I have to return some videotapes!" before running out of the arena. He joins Dixie's group, and Christy asks him why he doesn't just leave the group, and his response "Because I want to fit in."
