Saw the writing on the wall after the Hollywood dot com debacle. This blows.

Seriously this blows the biggest bag of dicks ever. That was like the only movie review place I could remotely trust(mainly cause they looked at films like the general audience would not over analyze the hell out of that most film critics do).

D:
First I hear Tom Merritt's out of TWiT and now this. It's been a bad day for my podcasting habits.
I'm super glad I went to their last Spill.con now.

Well, I know, after the Phase 2 thing earlier, Cyrus teamed up with Brian Salisbury and made their own site, One of Us, which brought in Leon to do their LEOG show. Korey and Co-Host are the odd men out right now, unless they also go and make another site.

Can some on give me a quick rundown of what happened with Hollywood.com. I'm interested to know too. Hollywood.com are the owners of the Spill site. The big thing that occurred related to them was, earlier this year in May, when they had a lot of layoffs of people on Spill.com, due to budget cuts from Hollywood. They shut down a couple of the site's shows, notably their video game section "The Loading Bar", the DVd review show "Remote Viewing" and several on air talent and freelancers were let go. That led to a big thing after known as the phase 2, where they changed around some stuff, introduced some new shows and were said to have been changing the site around in the coming months. But I'm guessing the news from today changed that, so now it's shutting down.

Loading bar has become RAGE SELECT. Features jeff, Jason, grant and and sometimes brushwood. Jeff and Jason intro the games as puppets. It's pretty awesome now

So basically, these Hollywood.com took a site that was doing fine, completely f***ed it over and destroyed it in less than six months? Impressive.

It sucks ...they produce like 75 percent of the podcasts I listen to on a weekly basis.
