It's a real shame that Yoko couldn't get his weight under control. At 350-400 pounds that dude would have been a beast(even more so)

I marked for Yoko so I would have loved to see him come back had he not passed away. Of course with anyone there's a chance they wouldnt know what to do with him or put him in wrestlecrap but if they had actually come up with something interesting for him it would have been really cool.

It is crazy to think that in 1999 Yoko was only 32 and a former 2 time WWF Champion. Like Akeem said, imagine if he had been able to slim down. He could still be wrestling today.

I think his WrestleMania appearance in the IC title match shows a thinning roster at the time. He was never worthy of a title match. Yeah it's pretty crazy in retrospect. Though I kind of like the fact that Rikishi has an IC title match against The Rock at WM under his belt so good for him.

He probably would have been fed to Kane then basically be used as an upper mid-card talent.

I think Yoko would of gone to WCW to be honest. Couldn't see him in an Attitude Era WWF.

Honestly even if the guy was able to get his weight down I'm sure he would been stuck in the midcard and would be jobbed out to whatever new talent that was coming along.

But his whole thing was how much he weight. That was what got him the push. It'd be like saying "if only Andre was a normal 6ft 3, he still may have been alive today' - sure but he would never have got the push or became the attraction he was. If Yokozuna was 'normal' size or even normal for a big guy size, he'd never have won the WWF title or probably even been signed.

I'm guessing they would have finally acknowledged that he was Samoan and not Japanese. Of course! Probably due to a Russo "shoot"...
