They just begun simulcasting The Paul Finebaum show on ESPNU. I watched. I missed him. I used to listen on sirius. I loved his callers and the way he'd stir em up. I do not find him pompous or annoying. I believe he is very smart, very sharp and very articulate. That said, he is obviously having trouble adapting to the TV version as there were lots of production goofs on his end. I hope directv adds the network soon. I would watch his show

Texas A&M's defense just keeps taking hits. Saw on my Facebook feed that Gavin Stansbury (Defensive Lineman) left the team.

The Times-Picayune reports that LSU freshman DT Trey Lealaimatafao suffered a serious arm injury "when he punched a glass window" in the team's weight room.
The former four-star recruit from Texas had an argument with his girlfriend which caused Lealaimatafao to put his fist through a window. Unfortunately for the LSU prospect, sources say the glass "tore through" his bicep to the point where they could see the bone underneath.

If Notre Dame junior DT Sheldon Day can "put it all together" this fall, he could have "an early exit and high-round selection in his future," according to CBS Sports' Derek Stephens.

Bob Stoops has suggested on that the overtime rule should be changed - teams should get the ball on 40 or 45 and have to earn FG range. When people have a problem with college OT rules it's generally that you get the ball in medium fieldgoal range. Think moving the ball out a way would garner a fair amount of support.
