Everyone in the Royal Rumble gets eliminated before number 30 (last 2 before 30 eliminate each other) and 30 gets the auto win when he's revealed.

Two wrestlers in an iron man match trade DQ falls by beating the shit out of eachother with weapons throughout the entire thing and at the end one of them wins just because the other one got in one shot too many and neither of them could keep track of the points because of all the shots to the head.

A wrestler who wants to lose but can't due to circumstances out of his control. This happened in WCW once. I can't remember the wrestlers, but it was an I Quit match and one of them agreed to throw the match. Right before the match started the guy got hit in the throat and lost his voice, thereby rendering him unable to say 'I quit' no matter how badly he wanted to. The other guy got pissed and started screaming "Say it! Say I Quit! I QUIT!" and the ref counted it, so the first guy ended up winning. It was Norman Smiley. He had won the Hardcore title but wanted nothing to do with it.

Everyone in the Royal Rumble gets eliminated before number 30 (last 2 before 30 eliminate each other) and 30 gets the auto win when he's revealed. 30 should be Bo Dallas for the mega heat but then it turns out someone was never properly eliminated - say Daniel Bryan - and he returns to throw Bo over the rope.

Heel cant be arsed with a match so walks off to regain the title by countout. Face doesn't want this to happen so chases after him and throws him back in the ring. The whole match is then a game of cat and mouse with the heel constantly trying to escape and the face chasing him and trying to stop him. What i've done there is taken a match ending that's often used and made a whole matches psychology be based on it. not really what this thread asked for but I think its an awesome idea I'm surprised hasn't been used before That's something I've liked to see involving DQ's. The heel keeps trying to get himself DQ'd, while the face keeps preventing it from happen. Ducking, removing foreign objects, telling the ref "No no, he didn't hit me in the balls, it was slightly to the left side"

tag team, or best friends, or brothers forced to face each other in a match by evil authority. After kind of half-assing it early they start tearing into each other.
Girlfriend of one of them comes out and intterupts the match, yelling at them and tells them to stop it. They both exit the ring, heads hung down like misbehaving kids as she leads them to the back

Two out of three falls match that only goes 2 falls. I can think of at least two examples of that - MVP beating Chris Benoit and Ric Flair beating Mick Foley.

Wrestler A defeats wrestler B, in a meaningful way that enhances both their images, after a strongly written, coherent and logical story.

I'm sure this has happened before, but my idea for a retirement match that involves the iron man stipulation.
Retiring wrestler (who is also the champion) faces his top contender, because he wants his last match to be against the best wrestler in the world. If he can't beat him, he was gonna remove his wrestling gear "right here in this very ring" and walk away for good.
Challenger gets to a comfortable lead, let's say 4-1. Then he takes a DQ because he just wants to wear his opponent out. Then the retiring wrestler surprises challenger with a small package for another fall, 4-3.
Get down to about a minute remaining, champion runs out of gas. He acknowledges the contender is the better man and starts untying his boots. Opponent is overwhelmed by sportsmanship and the crowd's reaction, he gets the crowd to give the man one more huge ovation. (Referee is overwhelmed as well.)
Retiring wrestler had a chain hidden in his boot, blasts champion with it. Referee counts to 10. Tied at 4 falls apiece. Then wrestler goes for the pinfall and scores a final pin before the clock expires.
Internet goes bat-crap crazy that the champion didn't do the right thing to put over the contender.

Here is an ending I thought TNA might try though the just teased it on reaction. One wrestler, I imagined Supermex back when he did the border toss, either before the match or after a dangerous move wins by forfeit with the other wrestler not continuing the match stating that he isn't safe. Did WCW ever do this? It seems like the perfect WCW storyline.
