Well, the only other one I can think of is Christmas Everyday.

It's up now - it turns out it's The Christmas Tree. Never heard of it but watching it now. Also it's not live action.

So far... Yeah. Yeah, it is. Edit: Yeah, pretty fun one, though the, "Effort!" speech at the end goes way too long and feels really out of place. It is a good sentiment and there are still some jokes in there but... It really comes off weird.

honest truth I found the review itself kind of boring (the subject matter was pretty terrible) but the ending made up for it. it's amazing, he put more effort into 5 minutes about the holidays than that movie could in 45.

His speech on effort would have been a lot better if he didn't motor mouth through it for whatever reason he did. But everything from Rob's speech to the Walker parents was very nice. It really is incredible how nice Doug truly is that he'd even try to include all the people out there who normally don't have a nice Christmas with what he asked his mom.
The review itself was okay, quite a bit of chuckles but nothing really laugh out loud funny in it. I still believe the Star Wars Holiday Special is the worse Christmas special. That cartoon looked cheap and rushed as heck, but at least the characters didn't seem to be meandering about. Also, it at least had one premise whereas the Star Wars one had several awful segments.

That was a very nice ending. Merry Christmas, indeed.

That's some bad animation in that movie

I just loved Barny Walker (Doug and Rob's dad) making his Christmas time message a cheap plug for the webstore. Also, I don't have a brother and I'm kind of jealous of Doug and Rob's relationship.
Edit: Also, for next year's Raw Christmas episode I want to see a wrestler down on his luck financially (much like Big Show was this year) and have them say that he desperately needs a bag of money or else the bank will foreclose on his house. But luckily for him he's booked in a "Bag of Money on a Pole Match".

You know what, the ending speach kinda reminded me of the one from Scrooged.

Wait, I thought he said this film was live-action in his teasers.

From what I can tell they confused the hint with the next review since they filmed them back to back

That was horrible, not the review but the movie. The review I laughed at, but damn that movie is terrifyingly bad.

Boring review. His dad was funny, though.

The review was so-so, but the footage of the holiday special itself had me laughing.
The ending was weird because it felt like he scripted it but at the same time improvised without letting the others know. When he mentioned people not having anybody to share the holiday with and being miserable, I began to wonder if Doug secretly peers into our forum.

I just read that that special came out in 1991. Maybe it came out that year, but the style of the animation makes it look like a product of the 70s or early 80s at most.

I honestly thought this was one of his best reviews in a while, even the sketches were great including the one with "The Mayor" at the store and the cutting back and forth between the poker game and Doug and Co doing that little pantomime.
And yes I too thought that Doug's speech at the end reminded me a lot of Bill Murry's at the end of Scrooged, so much so that I thought that all of Channel Awesome were going to break out into a chorus of "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" at the end.

I'll admit, I kinda teared up at the end.
