I haven't seen a wrestler fall that fast since... I'd better not.

According to most reports he cannot keep his mouth shut long enough to let his heat die down. Eh so he rants on Twitter about Total Divas, and keeps in Kayfabe on radio interviews, whoop. Orton used to do worse shit all the time, and nobody cared. Hell, Alex Riley got a DUI and literally nothing happened to him outside of Punk making fun of him for it. Same with Cameron, minus the Punk part. Swaggie didn't even really get depushed for his shit before Mania. Orton is Orton. It's hard to tell with Ziggler, because really, it's his normal booking. He could lose to JTG and no one would blink, and we'd see him putting on a clinic with Punk/Bryan the next week and we'd still buy him as a threat despite losing to aforementioned JTG. They didn't do much to Riley because at the time, there wasn't much you could do to him because he was already being booked as a huge goober anyway. Irrelevant Jobber Riley has more credibility than The Riley who hung out with the Miz. Cameron got a two week suspension I believe. Swagger is probably the only "former world champion, back to midcard" guy that's actually presented as a midcard guy rather than being some weird pseudo-main event guy like Miz, Del Rio, Ryback, and Ziggler sort of even with his depush.

I thought Ziggler was on a winning streak just a few weeks ago. I don't think he's being buried that badly. He's just kind of lost in the shuffle at the moment kind of like a lot of people in his tier/position on the WWE totem pole, like Kofi Kingston and the Miz.

Well, he lost to Curtis Axel on Main Event and Fandango, so he's pretty damn low for a guy who is much more over (and better) than Kofi or The Miz.

Chris Jericho - battled Punk for WWE title at Wrestlemania 28.
Chris Jericho - lost to Fandango at Wrestlemania 29.
If Ziggler follows this pattern, then he'll be a constantly dependable guy who can be slotted into the main event with no problem, while still being used to help put over younger talent. Also, he'll have a successful band and write several books.

It'll be hard to get over the shame of losing cleanly to Curtis Axel.
He might need to take a break for a few weeks and then come back with a moustache or something.

Because for some reason, he got annoyed about them firing his brother for no reason.
