It doesn't matter if they've dropped the meaning to WWE - you are essentially calling it the World Wrestling Entertainment World Heavyweight Championship.
If you aren't going to go with Unified or Undisputed then clearly the most obvious name is the WWE Heavyweight Championship
Anyone with me?

I thought that was already the name of WHC. Guess they added the "WWE".
Good thinking Triple H, real creative.

The same thing could be said of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Nope. Because the name of the company isn't World Wrestling Entertainment anymore. It's just WWE.

They'll drop it in a while and go back to WWE title.

Wasn't it pretty much called the WWF World Heavyweight Title for close to 20 years? I mean for most wrestling companies that IS what they usually call the top title "(Insert Company Here) World Heavyweight Title". WWE is doing something traditional here for a change. Why can't we be happy?

Why can't we be happy? It was, and that's why I posted a pic of the old belt. Personally, I thought it was dumb that they stopped using the term after introducing the other WHC.

Better than 'Unified WWE Championship', from the same creative geniuses in the WWE Universe that gave us Team Hell No instead of the far superior Team Friendship
Democracy simply doesn't work.

I think it looks fine as part of a graphic on screen.
But it's going to suck when it takes two commercial breaks for Orton to just say the name of the belt.

Do you think NCAA National Championship is equally stupid?

All these companies need to drop the "Heavyweight" stupidity.
Unless you're going to have clearly separated weight divisions, drop the moniker, especially when you consistently have guys under 220 pounds winning the strap.

At least it will be called the WWE World Heavyweight Title regardless.

WWE doesn't stand for World Wrestling Entertainment any longer.

Interestingly enough that's the same reason why most women don't get hired by WWE.
