It's not a war between positive and negative, nor is it a war between wait-and-see and cynicism. It's a war of tight vs. loose. And to the forces of Tight, I implore you: stand down.
The Loose Army are the ones that make the joke threads, that pop off jokes during show threads regardless of their feelings on the product, that mae photoshops, running gags and so forth. The Republic of Tight, however, are consumed in buyrate discussion, booking, whether or not so-and-so can spike ratings, who is being treated well and who deserves to be showcased. And it's becoming more and more apparent that if the Tight Republic does not surrender unconditionally soon, they stand at the brink of annihilation.
I've fought among both armies, but my heart lies with The Nation of Loose. I know what they're capable of. So again, Tight, I beg of you: stand down. They have won. It is no longer worth the fight.

I am surprised how creative you are in finding new ways to be passive aggressive. Part of life is accepting that people have differences, and aren't always going to think the way you'd like them to. Dividing people into groups, criticizing others for what they choose to discuss, I think you aren't as loose as you believe yourself to be.

The shift in the forum is in direct correlation to us losing Batista. Without him our photoshop threads slowly dwindled and died out. There used to be multiple ones on the front page at once now we barely get one a month.
We didn't know what we had until it was gone...
Batista truly knew how to combine wrestle with crap in a beautiful concoction to create the hero we needed. Now this role is unfulfilled.

I feel like that AJ vs. Michele beadle thread really struck a blow to us Loose troops, we blew so much of our load in that thread that the Tights soon swept in just in time to complain about the PPV, and with our power depleted...they won that battle.

These forums have ALWAYS had a good mix of heavy discussion and joking threads.
I found both my favorite wrestling gag (All the Batista basketball jokes) and my all time most stereotypical internet guy thread (William Regal>Kurt Angle at technical wrestling) on this forum.
