They are mockups the designer who did the network did before settling on the one they're actually using. As for the transistion to the network logo I expect it to happen slowly if it works the same as when the scratchn logo was brought in. They didn't just bring the scratch logo in, they were using the block logo for some things and the scratch for others throughout 97 I believe. Survivor Series 97 in early Nov 97 is when the scratch logo made its first appearance. Wrestlemania 14 was the last ppv to use the old logo.

I very rarely come in and reply to threads that are based on news sites but they're knowingly putting out false information about those logos. Anyone who looked at the original source could see that those 15 were potential logos for the network. Now I'm not totally ruling out the possibility of the "network" becoming the company wide logo but I've seen little to support that claim.
