I saw the first one in theaters with a group of friends, all of whom are big fans of bombastic and cheesy 80s action flicks, and we had an awesome time. It was one of the best in-theater movie experiences I've ever had. I think because of that, I liked the movie way more than I should have.
I saw the sequel on DVD, by myself while I was sick and home from work one afternoon, and I won't lie, I thought it was pretty terrible. Now I don't know if it was because the movie actually sucked or because the setting was different, but I'm going to ensure that I see this next movie in theaters and surrounded by friends.

Expendable 4 should have Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez as the bad guys kind of a Tomax and Xamot deal I support this. I think at some point in The Expendables 3's development, Jean Claude Van Damme was going to return to Jean Vilain's evil-er brother Claude Vilain

Wow...I can't believe they actually got Harrison Ford for this. Hopefully, that means he's actually going to try, as opposed to just boringly reading his lines and looking like he's about to fall asleep.
I hope at one point they have Grammar interrogating/torturing a bad guy and drops the line "Go on...I'm listening."
The biggest hopeful to me though is Gibson. I don't know what it is about the guy...maybe it's Hollywood's attempt to blacklist the bastard, that makes me more intrigued to see what kind of a performance we'll get.

I said it in another Expendables thread, but I still want Grammer to have a grenade labeled salad; and when it blows someone up have him look directly into the camera and dead-pan "Scrambled Eggs".

And Grammar should step on a rake.
