Depends on how good the match is. Does he win clean with the Style Clash? don't you mean the Faith Breaker? or whatever McCool called it. also this is the first time i've clicked on a thread with AJ in the title certain it was Styles being talked about for a change (been seeing AJ topics in the Impact forum and wondering why AJ Lee is being talked about there for a second or two before it clicked) only to find out it really is Lee as the AJ in question.

This is so ludicrous that I'm half-suspecting it's sarcasm but I'm honestly not sure. If you're joking, HA! Applause. If you're serious, HA! Insanity. AJ is so small, so tiny that she would in no way be credible against pretty much any guy on the roster. Honestly there's no girl on the roster who'd be credible. Part of it is because she's a wee little lady, like I said, but the other is that divas have for the past 15 years been presented as being in no way capable of matching up to men in the ring (unless your name is Chyna). If WWE wanted to reverse that trend, they'd need someone like Kharma to be a credible trailblazer and then start descending towards normalcy with other, smaller (but still "powerful") women like Natalya and the like before they could move to the girls like Paige, Emma and Sasha before getting to someone like Layla or AJ. I could totally buy Natalya as being able to hang with the male wrestlers if she was booked that way. They've missed the boat with her so badly it's insane. I recall someone mentioned a fantasy scenario some years ago for a woman winning the WWE title, that actually made some sense. The basic idea was a particularly manipulative diva (I believe the thread author mentioned Trish or Melina as the best candidate) putting together a host of mercenary undercard guys (through some combination of sex appeal and money) to storm a MITB match and run off with the briefcase. I'm not sure how it continued, but I believe that despite not being a legal participant, she'd scheme her way into a claim on the WWE title by manipulating the GM--again with feminine charms and money, and now the added threat of her mercenaries attacking people randomly--and pushing her possession of the briefcase as being the weapon for doing so. She gets the match made, and through an incredible streak of setups and shenanigans, wins the title, and uses her band of merry men to fend off any challengers. I think in that kind of scenario, AJ would actually be one of the better people to do it. As far as money goes, that would probably be hard to credibly do with her since her character doesn't have any financial lore (not a celebrity, hasn't been on top of the division for years, etc.) but I'm sure that if she found some kind of financially-powerful ally (Stephanie, anyone?) it'd be possible.

I would love to say yes and imply that I'm wittier then I give myself credit for but no, pun was not intended, merely a happy ending to a post people seem to be enjoying. Ok, but that had to be intentional.

Yeah. They should have done this with Chyna way back when. They did when she became the number one contender for WWE title by beating HHH and Undertaker in a triple threat match. Well not exactly. She never really got her shot or won it.

Simple. I'd mark the hell out. It'd be the greatest moment in WWE history.

It depends on the quality of the story in which it happens, of course. Who the hell cares who's champion? I care about what's happening and whether it's entertaining.
PS: Yes, I know that AJ Lee fans feel emotions about things and that's hilarious, but hasn't the blatant trolling of them gone way past the point of having any sort of entertainment value whatsoever? This stuff is just clogging things up with nastiness.

To expand upon the gif I posted earlier...
In a world where Natalya Neidhart, Kaitlyn, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Lita, Trish Stratus, and others never got the chance to compete for or be the WWE Champion, in no way should AJ Lee of all freakin' people become WWE Champion. All of these women are not only as talented as AJ, I'd argue more so in some cases, but the majority of them were more over than her in their primes compared to where she is now and most of all, they were/are far more believable fighting men. Regardless of whether this was because of their size or their style of fighting.
This isn't even scratching at the layer below that though, that we are living in a world where Dolph Ziggler and Christian can't buy a credible reign to save their careers. Where Daniel Bryan's combined times for his two reigns is less than a day's worth of time. Where guys like Ryback, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Big E., Cody Rhodes, BN Barrett are all waiting in the wings for their chance to rise up & certainly have some aspect that makes them worth it, some more immediately than others.
That there are guys like Bray Wyatt & Drew McIntyre and Titus O'Neil, Roman Reigns and Luke Harper & Hunico that with some time and love could be made into credible main eventers. That have the spark in whatever incarnation, whether it be ring skills or promos or what, to be a main eventer in time with some proper story crafting. And, some already seem like they could easily become a credible WWE Champion in time.
With a roster like the one WWE has, with the Divas that WWE has, with the past, and with everything about AJ Lee under consideration, in no way should AJ Lee be the WWE Champion. I'm sorry.

I'd be down if it meant afterwards we got regular competitive matches.
Not where she just gets kicked around the ring before something happens outside so she can win with a rollup. I want to see a back and forth with her vs someone 3 times her size, with mat wrestling and her wearing someone down in a chinlock. Knocking down the Big Show with 2 clotheslines etc.

The huge problem with it is that there's not really a good way to book it. They could either play it straight with her beating guys in wrestling matches which would be patently ridiculous, they could have her play the face in peril which would be unsettling to see a tiny woman getting beaten down by big dudes, or they could play her as the chickenshit heel where she runs away and some male ally shows up to do most of the work allowing AJ to pick the bones and get the pin. Luckily I don't think that Vince has completely lost his mind yet to where he would even consider something so nutty. I know that it's entertainment and not the same thing, but it would be like Ronda Rousey fighting Silva or Brock or whoever, sure Rousey is a great fighter and could probably put the hurt on an untrained man, but up against a similarly skilled/more skilled fighter with a huge size/strength advantage she's going to lose.
It would make a lot more sense and be more believable to me to just build up the Diva's division and the women in it as something more than a piss break. Build the diva's title up to where it's the female equivalent of the WWE title and they could accomplish the same thing if not more, as it wouldn't be a novelty for the sake of being 'progressive'. That's crazy talk, I know.
