I'll start caring about these leaks when one from an upcoming PPV manages to leak.

It was supposed to be somewhat more special entrances and a long ending, but the intros had to be shortened a lot so it didn't go 40 minutes really. Even so, if you gave half that time to the intros, special ring intro, and long ending putting over Cena, that's still Rock in a 20 minute match, and that would have been one of his longest matches even in comparison to his prime. Except a 20 minute match is still short compared to the hour Ironman match he had.

Compare the actual match times with the how long they were suppose to be given, and you can see just how good the WWE is with time management.

Yes, he had one iron man match, but look at all of his other main event matches and see how many of them surpass well past 20 minutes.

The match lengths on this script are way shorter than the actual match lengths:
Randy Orton, Sheamus & The Big Show vs. The Shield - scripted for: 20:00, actual length: 10:35 Ryback vs. Mark Henry - scripted for 15:00, actual length: 8:02 Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston - scripted for 12:00, actual length: 6:16 Chris Jericho vs. Fandango - scripted for 15:00, actual length: 9:17 Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger - scripted for 20:00, actual length: 10:28 The Undertaker vs. CM Punk - scripted for 25:00, actual length: 22:07 Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar - scripted for 30:00, actual length: 23:58 The Rock vs. John Cena - scripted for 40:00, actual length: 24:01
If nothing went over the scheduled time, why did the Funkadactyls/Rhodes Scholars match get cut?

Perhaps the time takes into consideration the whole segment, including entrances and the aftermath, which adds on a ton of time with some of these matches, like Taker/Punk for example.

Taker/Punk definitely went over the allotted time, and it should have. The entrances were long, Taker's is always long and Living Colour played Punk to the ring and that needed to be long. Then, after all that, if Punk lost in like 12 minutes he would look like an idiot in comparison to the epics Taker has every year.

Except a 20 minute match is still short compared to the hour Ironman match he had. Yes, he had one iron man match, but look at all of his other main event matches and see how many of them surpass well past 20 minutes. Just a selection of matches... vs HHH (Rebellion 99) - 22:17 Fatal 4 Way Elimination (WM16) - 39:42 (Worked to the finish) vs Austin (WM17) - 28:07 vs Benoit (Fully Loaded 2000) - 22:09 vs Angle (No Mercy 2000) - 21:01 Six Man HIAC (Armageddon 2000) - 32:12 vs Jericho (No Mercy 2001) - 23:44 Winner Takes All (Survivor Series 2001) - 44:57 Granted some of them only just touch over 20 minutes, but if you look at 90% of matches during that time...they were all 20 minutes or less. Rock by virtue of being in the main event a lot, actually worked some of the longest matches at that time. And two special mentions for vs Cena at WM28 was 33:34, and at WM29 it was clocked at just 24:01.

Looking at the script, where are the promo buildups? Practically every Mania I've seen has had a video package for the match that's coming up. There really were very little in the way of videos at mania 29 though. They cranked off matches one after another like it was WCW. Was kinda weird.

I find it interesting they take the time to stamp their logo when they want the WWE signature. Like, if the script just said "signature" no one would know what that meant and they production guy would start frantically writing his name on the screen, trying to make it appear to us.
