Funniest film I have seen in a long time. I was literally in tears at the funeral, and the News Team Battle Pt.2 was like, the Wrestlemania of fight scenes!
I've got to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it throughout. Anyone else seen it yet?

Hoping to see it with some of my friends soon. It's got 75% on Rotten Tomatoes, should be hilarious!

Probably get a few more thoughts on it and if it seems promising, I'll catch it on Christmas. I wanted to see it when I first heard about it but all the ads, viral attempts and what not, I've grown weary and am not sure.

I wanted to see it when I first heard about it but all the ads, viral attempts and what not, I've grown weary and am not sure. I was the same initially, but then I saw one with Brick freaking out about his legs, and I knew I had to see it. On the subject, Steve Carrell totally stole the show.

I've heard mixed reviews from people I know about the movie. I'll have to see for myself.

Didn't like the first one and its permeation throughout the internet really soured me on it even more. If I could go one day without seeing an Anchorman reference I'd be happy. This one doesn't look very good either and then there's been the annoying viral marketing. I'm sure I'll be dragged along to see it with someone regardless.
I'd have much rather had a Step Brothers 2.

As much I like the first one, I'm just tired of hearing about it. The advertising for this one made me not want to see it.

My god was that movie hilarious. Steve and Will were hilarious.
The dinner scene with the black lady's family was also lol.

I thought it was funny. It's tough for me to call how much I liked it because the first movie is a really tough one to outdo. I hadn't laughed so hard and so much through a movie like I did the first Anchorman. There were a lot of familiar gags in this one and the story pretty much followed suit, I kind of wanna watch it again now that I know what to expect and don't have to hold it as much against the first one, there were definitely some hilarious moments but it didn't kill me like the first one.

I thought it was funny, but it is not, nor will it ever be, on the level of the original. I won't lie, I was getting concerned that they were entering "The Hangover Part II" territory, in that they were essentially remaking the first movie with a different location and slightly different lines, but fortunately those fears subsided almost immediately.
For as good as it was, it also had extended periods here and there where nothing funny was happening. I don't expect to be laughing for 119 minutes, but it did feel like it'd be a good 20-plus minutes between funny parts.
I honestly think I'll need to watch it again to really give it a fair and honest review, to watch it on its own merits rather than judging it off of the original.

I had high hopes going in, and though it wasn't as good as I would have hoped, I wasn't terribly disappointed either. Solid effort, but this needs to be it. The news team battle at the end was phenomenally ridiculous, but in a good way.
My only complaint: Kristin Wiig's character was forced into the script and came off terribly unfunny. Gotta say, I'm over Wiig...she can go away for a bit

I saw it opening day and I thought it was hilarious! Steve Carell definitely stole the show and the news team mocking Fox News was brilliant.

The first one is of my all time favorite films. I think this one may have out done it. By far my favorite film of the year and the funniest

Saw it tonight. Definitely defeats the first one by a long shot. I highly recommend you folks to see it. Funniest movie I have seen in a long time. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The news anchor battle scene had me in tears. Best scene with Will Smith, Liam Neeson, Kanye and The Ghost of Stonewall Jackson.
Steve Carrell was funnier in this one as well.
Better plot and jokes in this movie than the first. The whole Ron going blind part was gold. The dinner scene with his boss's family was also a hilarious tear-inducing scene.

I just realized the gay guy (or vampire) from the commercial isn't in the movie.
