Ragdoll by Aerosmith was on VH1 Classic, and for some reason, Steven Tyler's decision to scat for the last minute or so of the song filled me with rage. Like I got into his thought-process, "ya know man f*** it why I don't just lazily scat for the end of the tune? And I'll use none of the melodic inventiveness that usually makes scatting somewhat worthwile, while that plodding beat and that harmonica noodling is going on. That should sufficiently waste everyone's time!"
This has to happen to other people, right? It just has to.

I hate when some rap songs start with "UHH YEAH YEAH UH UH YEAH UHHUH YEAH UH YEAH UH YEAH" for like the first 30 seconds to a minute. My brother does that shit too when he raps. It's whack.

This is an great song anyway
But what f***s me off is 3:45 there's a bit that sounds particularly awesome but than it annoyingly fades out leaving me all "OH COME ON", The song starts up again that particular bit doesn't come back.

Metallica - St Anger - When the songs don't end probably when they should've around 5 minutes and continue for another 3. And I usually love long songs, its just that st angers got repetitive, the songs had good ideas it was just executed horribly.

Final tracks on albums that lead to the hidden track.
Annoying cause you could be shuffling songs on your music player... and then you get ten minutes of silence because the hidden song is on the same track number. Really couldn't everyone just do what Nine Inch Nails did on their 'Broken EP'?

I've always thought the same thing about that part, I like the idea of the fade-out then BANG! right back in there but the part before the fade out sounds badass. The part where it's like "No! I'm not gonna beat you" then Corey comes in with "BEEEEEEE-EEEEEEEE-EEEEEEE-EEEEEAT YOUUUUUUU" more than makes up for it to me though, never fails to crack me up.

Anytime in a Korn song where John Davis runs out of ideas for lyrics and just spouts gibberish for a minute or so.

I hate Bono's line in Do They Know It's Christmas? - "well tonight thank God it's them, instead of you..."

Really couldn't everyone just do what Nine Inch Nails did on their 'Broken EP'? Even worse than a hidden track is when it's just a hidden message. Bruce Dickinson's 'The Alchemist' for example: You get a five minute song, followed by almost four minutes of silence, and finally a fifteen second spoken message. Just feels so pointless; even if you need the message on it, what's the point of the long silence? And I'm getting really sick of rap songs with people constantly going "Hey! Hey! Hey!" in the background.

I hate Bono's line in Do They Know It's Christmas? - "well tonight thank God it's them, instead of you..." Didn't that line lead to a disagreement when they remade the song? I think someone else sang it, but then Bono exterted his ownership of the line and had the other person's singing removed in favor of Bono redoing the line. Does anyone remember this? If anyone can fill in the gaps in my memory, I would appreciate it. Edit: I guess I could have just tried Wikipedia. "Bono, Paul McCartney and George Michael were the only artists from the original Band Aid who had been asked back to lend their voices to Band Aid 20. There was a reported dispute over the line 'Tonight thank God it's them, instead of you', which Bono sang on the original version. Justin Hawkins, of The Darkness, laid down a version of the line, but Bono insisted on re-recording his version, which was eventually used on the record."

Any time a rapper chuckles at his own joke during a song. Like it was SO goddamn funny that they had to laugh at it immediately after telling it. f*** off.

Whenever a Nickelback or nu-metal song starts on the radio, I get pissed off.
Luckily, XM has a little something for everyone.
