My grandma briefly had a laptop that had it. It's horrible. Like, I don't think there's a single way in which I'd say it improves on 7.

I have it and I love it dearly. It's easier to use than previous version of windows and it also has a lot of depth.

It took a while for me to adapt but I'm OK with it now.

I had it on my old laptop. It was decent for me, though I just had shortcuts on my desktop to all the programs I use and never really used the Start/Metro menu thing.

I have it, it's a bizarre layout for a non-mobile device. I don't even think that it has Office or Word or anything, if it does I have no clue where it is.

Hated it at first. Now I'm used to it. Not sure it's in any way 'better' than Windows 7.

My mum has it on her laptop and it makes me want to smash the thing. It does not help that she barely knows how to use computers and always bugs me for the littlest things WHICH I CANNOT FIND ON THE PIECE OF SHIT KNOWN AS WINDOWS 8.

I don't. However, as an aspiring IT tech, I should know it.

We got my mom a new laptop for Christmas and it has it on there. I plan to change it back to Windows 7, or at least make it look like it, somehow once she opens it and sets it up.

It has a lot of problems, and is not recommended for an enterprise level roll out, for sure.
That said, after the 8.1 update it is better, though it still has some lovely issues like having internet connectivity, but not being able to access webpages.
Though it manages RAM and SSDs far better than 7.

I've had it for a few months and at first I hated it. Gotten used to it slowly and it's not bad once you get the hang of it. With that said, there was nothing wrong with Windows 7 to me, it's clear 8 was meant for tablets.
