Even though we didn't have any advancement in the overall story arc, this was still good for a filler episode.
My one complaint would be Spike having that feeling of worthlessness, when he had a big hand in saving the Crystal Empire some time prior.
Good, but not great.

You know what I'd like to see come from this ep?
Power pony versions of other show canon ponies.
Trixie as Zatanna, Cheerilee as Jean Grey, Octavia as Green Arrow, Vinyl Scratch as Black Canary, etc.

Ok so now I've watched it properly Another solid good fun episode It may be somewhat of a filler but to be honest, sometimes I prefer the eps that take themselves alittle less seriously. I'll give it an 8/10... It's not a personal favourite by anymeans, but probably the best Spike episode to date. Also Flutterhulk was awesome ;D Yes I'm being Bias, No I don't care  |

Even if the story is filler, they are at least continuing from past eps via restoring the old castle.

To be honest, I'm not really that bothered by it. The only bit that's a pain in the arse is when it comes to doing for the polls for each episode. Luckily we have our resident Aussie as our Human Calculator |
