I am selling some items for my friend Nikolai on ebay through ID colmashfan
All items include a signed 8x10 and a phone call. Items include a Russian hat, red boots, black boots, 1 cent Dibiase shirt and a military coat that was replaced before use.

It's sad Nikolai has to do this. Didn't he say just a month or so back that he was fine financially and just wrestled for fun?
Maybe he just wants to clear this stuff out but to be honest if I were a wrestling legend I wouldn't sell off my memories unless I really had to.

If he just wants to clear his stuff out, I think it'd make sense to either drop the prices, or just donate them to the WWE HoF.

Is he selling his gear from his no-ring classic with Bobby Fulton?

He is doing fine. This and the no ring event are not indicative that he is in need. He works a five day a week 9-5 job and enjoys getting the occasional weekend booking. He has some excess memorabilia and knowing I'm an ebay seller, he wants to see how it goes for sale. I've gotten some watchers and questions but if they don't sell, I can always re-list or take best offers.

If I buy some of your baseball cards, can I still get a call from Nikolai?

I too was interested in the 1 Cent stuff, but not for that much. I'm glad Volkoff is doing well though. He seems like a nice guy.

jason1980s.
Serious question. It's a t-shirt that Nikolai Volkoff wore in the mid-90's when he was DiBiase's lackey. How do you justify charging $450 for that?

I feel it's fair for a unique item that was personally worn by someone who made a lasting impact on wrestling. I have a number of people "watching" the item too and have had some offers. If it doesn't sell I can always relist or entertain the offers.
What I think is overpriced nowadays are wrestling convention autographs. Wrestling prices for autographs have gone way up in years and that's something anyone can have. A hat or a pair of boots made only for one wrestler were not mass produced. In the old days it used to be autographs were one price and photo ops (with fan camera) were free. If you want a polaroid, that's only $10. Now it's at least $15 for an autograph and a photo op and $15 is on the low side. Again, it's something any fan who can drive to a show can obtain. I also picked price based on what I've seen other wrestlers charge for similar gear and I think their prices were fair as well.

I don't see a problem with the prices. This is some rare, collectible stuff. If I had some extra cash, that "Property Of.." shirt would be mine.

People pay $100+ for some LJN and Hasbro figures and I get that they are rare and people want to complete a collection but they aren't limited items, worn by the star in a match or many matches.

Guys who had a cup of coffee in the WWE will sit there and charge you 10 dollars for an autograph 10 dollars for a photo and then try and sell you merchandise. If you go to a legitimate celebrity convention though for 20 dollars you can usually meet someone who at least has done something in show business and had some degree of fame once. Then you get guys like Shawn Michaels who charge the same as William Shatner, crazy.

An example is the Hollywood Collector Show. 10 years ago the show saw fairly big names with the lower names still being impressive (actors who guests on Andy Griffith or similar older shows). They had an important place in TV or movie history. Now that many of the actors who used to attend have passed away it is a lot of bottom of the barrel actors along with a few bigger names. They charge regular price for an autograph and for a photo and that's the norm. Very few exceptions. I went to a convention featuring some 60s and 70s TV stars and was shocked how reasonable the prices were. It was definitely not the norm for those type of shows. It'd sad. I don't mind Michaels prices considering how much he has done in wrestling. $100 for the Shield to me is insane.

We must petition WWE to sell replicas of the Property of Million Dollar Man shirt, stat.

The Million Dollar Man shirt was iconic. It was almost like a worked version of a wrestler's real life considering the number of guys who've hit harder times. Fans would probably enjoy wearing a "property" shirt as a old school throwback.
