Come on WWE. Daniel Bryan is the one good thing I have left to look forward to as a wrestling fan. Please let him have his big moment.

Because he's done all 3 of these already I mean having a title reign of a decent length and not undermining him by shoving people into his angles (unless that person is clearly secondary to him) to overshadow him and steal his spotlight. I'm okay with Cena "speaking for him" because he at least acknowledges that Bryan deserves a shot. But I really don't want another Big Show taking over his storyline thing.

Even if this terrible card were real, getting to wrestle Shawn Michaels at 'Mania, in a match HBK is coming out of retirement for, certainly qualifies as a big moment.

Meltzer seemed to be hinting at Cena vs. Triple H on Wrestling Observer Radio today.

Man they are truly adamant not to do Taker vs Cena if all this is to be believed.

All of the scenarios that have been rumored sound like complete wastes of Cena. A filler tag match with Hogan against a jobber tag team? A match with Triple H for....something?
UNDERTAKER DAMN IT. We saw Brock Vs. Old Guy in long drama story match three times. They weren't that good. Move Brock to Punk, Bryan or even Sheamus.
Cena/Undertaker is THE match you want at the 30th Wrestlemania.

Man they are truly adamant not to do Taker vs Cena if all this is to be believed. The only reasoning that I can fathom, is that someone is adamant that if Cena goes up against Taker...he will have to end the streak so they're avoiding it like the plague. That's literally the only reason I can think of as to why they haven't pulled the trigger on that match yet. Of course, I could be totally wrong and Vince has gone mad...spent a lot of money and is pushing Cena into Thrice in a Lifetime against Rocky.

From what the 50th anniversary DVD suggested, it looks like The Rock retired, as it states his career ended in 2013.

There's nothing wrong with having a HHH match on the mania card if HHH loses imo.

I can dig Undertaker/Lesnar and Punk/Triple H, but the rest of the card is garbage.

You need the one off-special attraction guys to make the event stand out. There are so many PPVs and realistically so few spots open for main eventers that unless you want Mania to be simply a rehash of matches you've likely seen three or four times that year already, the you need guys like Rock, HHH, Lesnar and whomever to pep the card up.

I mean... Those matches do make sense... a part timer challenging for the title does not make sense in fact if anything Batista showing up probably means the Vince's proxy vs Hunter for control of the company is back on. Batista is someone Hunter knows, likes, fears but would treat with respect, but he's also been in Vince's pocket. Think of him as a fresher Kevin Nash

At least, this part timer is supposed to be around after Mania (supposedly until August).

Imo that's less of a problem of not having stars and more of a problem of not using the entire roster year round. Someone said that WrestleMania is no longer the "Super Bowl", and it's now "The All Star Game". Nothing wrong with that in theory OR practice, except that EVERY RAW, SD, and PPV since the advent of the SuperShow era is the "All Star Game". WWE stacks every show with their top guys like a super card, which makes an actual super card like WM not feel special without those special attractions. USe the likes of the PTPs, Ryder, Yoshi, Riley, etc. on the B-PPVs more often, and WrestleMania should be the only "Top guys only" PPV.

Granted, I haven't read the newest newsletter, but all Meltzer actually said on the LAW was that Batista would be in the title match. As far as Michaels, he said everyone was denying It. Not sure where the rest of this card came from.
