I'm English, but I did this just to confuse it. The three most similar cities I got were New York, San Jose and Honolulu. Also - drive thru liquor stores? These are a thing?! I've seen one in my life, at the college town I went to. Even then, I believe that was torn down at some point. It put me in the Colorado area, which is somewhat close to where I live.

It gave me Fremont, San Jose, and Santa Ana/Irvine as my three closest cities, and Toledo, Detroit, and Grand Rapids as my least alike cities.
I am from Vegas, which so I can't be shocked it gave me three California cities.

I got a lot of California cities. Weird since both my parents are "Nor-easters" and I was raised in Florida. Maybe I should take it again.
EDIT: thanks to different questions it put me in Kentucky or Texas. Lived in Ohio for a while so closer

It seems to be based solely on me calling gym shoes sneakers... but it got New York right Though not Long Island specifically...

UK based here, I managed to break it.
It refused to load me any answers and just kept telling me it has error'ed.
I'm glad I broke it.

Looking at the map after each of my answers would peg me around Wisconsin/northern Illinois. My dad's from Kenosha, so I'll take it.
Probably because most of my answers are centered there...except I say "Y'all". I think I broke it.

Pretty accurate, even if I'm not American. I'm in southern Ontario and they said Buffalo, which is as close as it could get.

It got me. New York. Also Florida, Miami/Hialeah and Pembroke Pines. Makes sense if those places have a lot of New York retirees.

Got Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo. Considering I'm from Michigan (rural Michigan) this seems about right.
Least similar were Birmingham, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans.

According to that, I've got a New York dialect. They're right.

It's close, but not accurate in a lot of ways. It did get my general region right, the Southeast. It seems like it pretty much based this decision on the use of "Y'all"
You don't say?
Also, one of the questions was what do you call a big truck that hauls cargo, essentially. I've heard people in my region call them everything from Semis, to 18 wheelers, to tractor trailers... I think it, in particular, is just one of those things where people don't like to pick a word.

I want someone to make a British version of this. Or at least an English one. Q1) What does you call these? a) Bun b) Roll c) Bap d) Cob Instantly divide the country. My answer is a Southerner from the United States is: It's B, but it could be A. It's a Roll if you're eating it by yourself, but if you open it up and put meat, jelly, or some such in it--then it becomes a bun.

It listed me as Lexington,KY, Louisville, and Springfield,MO. I guess I'm only 4 hours from Lexington so that was close but I'm actually from West Virginia.

Got Amarillo (my hometown), Lubbock, and Brownsville. Brownsville was a bit random but otherwise correct.

Very cool. Got me Boston & Worcester, MA which I'm about 35/45 minutes away from in opposite directions. Also Arlington, VA, which is weird.
Least: Toledo, Jackson, MS & Detroit
