I really enjoyed the episode and this thread as always made it better. It hit a nice balence between holiday comedy and good in ring action. Not the best Xmas episode ever but thoroughly enjoyable

A different way of doing things…

- During last night's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, there were times that Michael Cole and JBL were seen not talking during their Raw commentary was clearly happening. Both were in attendance at the tapings last week for on camera shots, as well as to appear in the background as they usually would. Cole and JBL were flown into Stanford, Connecticut and the duo did live commentary of the show last night from WWE Headquarters. This is also how so many mentions of Batista were placed into the show.

They did a great job with the recordings, it still sounded like they were still there at ringside. I have to say, while I normally don't find the commentary bad like a number of people here, I did really enjoy how more relaxed they seemed to be all night.

They should've done it old school and had Cole and JBL do "live" shots in front of a greenscreen of the fans.
