I don't know if life is worth living without Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits.

I don't know if life is worth living without Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits. It does mean we'd have the recipe out there probably, though.

Good riddance! You can buy their biscut mix at a few grocery stores and they're easy to make.

I don't care about Red Lobster.... however, I hope Olive Garden doesn't go anywhere. I like that place (yes... I know it isn't "authentic" but still).

Their carrot cake scarred me for life. 22 years later and now I have my revenge. May you suffer in hell red lobster.

We have one here but I've never been. Guess I'll have to try it soon because I hear those cheddar biscuits 414% "to die for" and that doesn't even make sense.....

I've been hooked on their biscuit mix from Sam's Club for the past year.I could care less about the restaurant, but if this means they'll stop selling the mix,I will rage.

I can't believe people are saying good riddance, because there's a a lack of seafood restaurants in certain areas, that Red Lobster helps makes up for. I don't care if I can make their biscuits, because I prefer eating them there.
Was it the best seafood I had?
No.
Was it reasonable if I ever had a craving?
Absolutely.
And Red Lobster is "hoity toity"? I consider their prices reasonable compared to other seafood I've been to. This absolutely sucks. I've had a long history with Red Lobster and will miss is immensely.

Their prices are FAR better than most other sit down and dine restaurants. We were able to get twice as much food, and it was all twice as good for less than half by going to Red Lobster, over what we got and paid for at Outback Steakhouse.

Red Lobster is the only real national sea food chain restaurant, unless you count Joe's Crab Shack. or Long John Silver's, which both are 10% sea food, 90% grease. I can't wait to see what "new exciting" burger restaurant is going to fill the void here.

This is surprising. The one near me is always packed, it shares a parking lot with Olive Garden and if your not there right at 5 on a weeknight or right when the open on the weekend you're in for a wait at both.

I've had a long history with Red Lobster and will miss is immensely. Agreed. I can understand if someone had a bad experience at a location and being fine or happy with that particular location going away (hell there are several national chains that I have liked seeing a local one shut down thanks to the poor service there) but never a complete chain unless they were doing some real shady shit. Red Lobster is one of my mother's favorite places to go as the prices aren't bad and she can get shrimp which she loves so if something were to happen to the chain, it'd cause some sadness here. However, from reading the article it seems more that RL is one of the more successful franchise that this company has and they are trying to make some "quick" cash by moving RL and nothing in the article points to the going out of business expect what seems to be a misleading title.
