It would seem that he has made up his mind since he has already been announced for TNA events next year. But given how chaotic things are in TNA right now that only goes so far. My guess is that Dixie would do near anything to keep him around, as he is effectively the only legend star they still have. But I suppose it is plausible that he is kind of egging WWE on a bit, trying to get them to up any offer they may make. Personally I still hope he would finally make the jump, but it doesn't seem likely.

I don't see Sting ever going to the WWE. Unless you count accepting a HOF offer as going to the WWE. For me though there's nothing he can really do in WWE at this point that I want to see. I'm so tired of hearing of Sting vs. The Undertaker. It's not going to happen & that's a good thing; both are broken down & likely wouldn't have good chemistry together. If they are going to keep doing Undertaker matches each year, i'd prefer they keep to their own, younger stars to give them a chance to get over by almost defeating the streak.
It's better to be known as the biggest name to never go to the WWE at this point for Sting. Being a big fish in a smaller pond.

As bad as anything gets in tna, I really don't want to see him the wwe as an active wrestler. The fact that Vince only wants him if he jobs to the Undertaker shows that he actually has little respect for him. Why can't Vince sign him up any other way? The only way he should go the wwe is with a legends contract when he retires.

The news of Sting's possible retirement and/or continuing work in TNA is right up there with the "return" of Psycho Sid.
At first it was cool to hear, now its just like.... ok, well, whatever.

I don't even want to see Sting have matches in TNA, I definitely don't want to see him have matches in the WWE. Sting kind of screwed himself on this though, I'm sure that he will eventually get a legends deal and a HOF spot, but being "the one guy that never went to the WWE" is less than meaningless at this point. It would have had some value if he could still go in ring, but Sting is a chunky old guy with a ghetto booty these days.

The ship has sailed on Sting to the WWE. His rumored match against Undertaker stopped being a decent idea 2-3 years ago.
With the "WCW nostalgia" driving some good DVD sales numbers lately, I can see Sting being brought in for a DVD and a HOF induction. That's about it and as a long time WCW/Sting guy, I'm perfectly fine with that.

I could still see WWE ambitiously trying to get one match out of Sting, no matter how old he gets. I'd laugh if in a few years, we got 60 year old Sting vs. 50 year old Undertaker. Boy, what a sad match that would be.

They'll induct in him the hall of fame whilst still under contract to TNA and all TNA will ask for in return is Goldust to appear as Black Reign in a very brief segment at the next TNA hall of fame.

Honestly, I don't want to see Sting wrestle period. Dude is past it and stinks up the ring every time.

I've got this brilliant idea. During the main event at Wrestlemania, Sting walks out and stands at the top of the entrance ramp. The cameras never show him. The announcers never mention him. The wrestlers never acknowledge him. He just stands there, in full costume and holding a bat, for a good five minutes, watching the match as the crowd goes absolutely INSANE, nodding and cheering.
Sting then walks backstage and is never seen or mentioned again.
The legend surrounding that moment would be AMAZING.

2 years ago, Sting in WWE sounded awesome. Now, I just don't want to see it. It's a combination of WWE having a higher talent level and Sting really showing how little he has left in those 2 years.

Sting isn't going to the WWE or at this coming WM. The whole dream match with Taker isn't happening and likely will never happen. The WWE as Taker's plans set for this year and there as been not one bit of news on the WWE even going after Sting right now. While Sting is one of very few "legend stars" they have you forgot Angle is still there. But Sting doesn't have the messed up life. TNA needs Sting much more then the WWE does. and Sting is better in TNA at this point than the WWE. I mean how much time would the WWE invest in a feud for a match between to men in there 50s? Plus why would Sting do the so call dream match when he knows the chances of him winning are slim to none. You thing at WM the WWE would let Sting end the streak to there franchise player? I doubt it. Why would Sting take that kind of hit to his legacy?
