@adamschefter 17m There are now multiple signs pointing to Rex Ryan returning as Jets HC next season, per sources; still some issues to work through, however. Yikes. The Jets front office just doesnt learn I'm fine with him staying one more year. Though if the Jets don't look good a month into the 2014 season, his ass is grass.

Chris Mortensen says the Texans and O'Brien are working on a deal. I bet the players that he talked into sticking around through the tough times at PSU are happy about that. I think the Texans need a lot more fixing than it may appear. Cushing and Foster are fragile, the O-line is a mess,Andre Johnson isn't getting any younger, the secondary is abysmal,etc.. As a Colts fan, I love seeing the mess that Houston and Jacksonville are in and I hope that the Titans have faith in Locker as their QB of the future.

I mean I can't stand the guy, but he does run a good defense. Can they do what they did in Remember The Titans and downgrade him to Defensive Coordinator/Assistant head coach and hire a sharper offensive mind?

So the Texans randomly interviewed Lovie Smith? The Rooney Rule strikes again!

I can't believe we're in week 17 already. This season went by way too fast! I'll be sad to see it end. Mostly because I'll miss the Beloved, but also since all I'll have left is the terrible Bulls, & the hopeless Cubs.
Only about 31 weeks till training camp starts!!!!

Yikes. The Jets front office just doesnt learn I'm fine with him staying one more year. Though if the Jets don't look good a month into the 2014 season, his ass is grass. As a Patriots fan, the Jets taking the "we'll give him ONE more year" approach is the best-case scenario. Instead of making changes that are desperately needed, the Jets are fine maintaining the status quo because they were mediocre instead of atrocious this season. I hope Geno Smith finishes the season strong today, throwing for 300-plus yards and running for about 100 yards, so they give him the same vote of confidence they're giving Rex, rather than making a total overhaul. The Jets can be terrible for another year, it won't bother me in the slightest.

Well, if Carolina beats Atlanta today, the division is theirs.
Surely they can beat lowly Atlanta, right?
RIGHT?...

I hope the Bengals take this seriously. They won't get home field unless NE chokes, but I don't want these Ravens in the playoffs.

And Dalton is picked off on his first throw.
Welp.
EDIT - Actually that was on Marvin Jones. He had both hands on it. You have to bring that in.
